I suspect this might not work nicely with Wear More Rings, but I'll give it a test when I have moment and report back.

It TECHNICALLY does, but this requires some explanation as it's finagly and janky... I'm not even sure I'm explaining this right...
When you move over to a BRAND NEW slot, you have a blank set of items despite the fact that everything is still in your equipment slots. You "load" slots with clothes and if you want items in multiple outfits, you need to unequip them while you're in slot 1 and then re-equip them while in another slot. Exit the inventory screen to update, then go back into it and swap slots, then unequip and reequip items.

Using BRAND NEW slots is where most of the problems are as your character will appear naked but everything is still in the slots. You have to force a refresh by closing and reopening the inventory to get your empty slots. You can un-equip and re-equip anything to want to keep in the BRAND NEW slot before swapping out different items. Footwear is included in this as well as the core game's 2 ring slots, but ANY extra slots (Like Wear More Rings.) aren't swapped around. Surprisingly, this still works with Skillful Clothes. (Which is mostly why I downloaded it.)

      Suggestions to aedenthorn:
1: WHITE text on a light background is really damn hard to see. Pick a color that contrasts better against the menu's peach color. A black shadow or aura around the numbers would make it show up against anything you can throw at it. Also, moving them below the farmer portrait and moving them closer together (And/or turning the straight numbers into little icons or something...) would also do wonders for their visibility and ease-of-use.
Nevermind the strikethrough portion, I think it's just a technical incompatibility with the increased inventory UI size caused by Bigger Backpacks. However, making the numbers closer together and turning them into icons might still help usability and visibility instead of using plain white text.
2: The mod needs a little more refining on the initial startup, but that just might a problem with adding the mod to a late game. The jankiness seems to be limited to initial, brand-new outfit slots and I was able to duplicate items due to the mod not forcing refreshes/updates when swapping outfits. Having options to set certain items (Notably footwear or if Wear More Rings is installed, a set number of rings...) as static/not swapped by the mod might be a good idea. That way, people can keep some rings or rather ring slots as static while swapping others around, and people don't need 5-6 pairs of shoes if they just favor one set of footwear. (Like the expensive Cinderclown Shoes or be forced to find multiple pairs of Mermaid or Dragonscale Boots.)

Despite this, I'm liking this mod and with some patches, this could easily become a must-have companion mod to the aforementioned Skillful Clothes mod.

Thanks for looking into it, I hadn't had time yet.

@aedonthorn - hopefully it will be possible to make a compatibility patch for Wear More Rings?

Either way your mods are all awesome and many of them are absolute must haves for me, so thank you for everything you do :-)

Slight question because im curious but does this work with mods that expand the inventory size like your bigger backpack/ inventory mod and the "wear more rings" mods? I know lots of people consider it to be fairly useful in their modlists and playthroughs. I hope to get a reply soon with info on that compatability as this would be really cool if so. Even if its not with the wear more rings per say, knowing it wont destroy itself if there are wallet/UI changes would be helpful to note.

This mod doesn't deal with inventory, just the six equipment slots.

There is actually a TECHNICAL incompatibility because the numbers to select the outfits seem like they're static and don't move when the inventory is expanded past the vanilla limit with the Bigger Backpack mod. However, I can't say the same for the author's own More Backpack Upgrades mod as from their video because that looks like it adds a scrolling feature to your inventory instead of changing the inventory UI to accommodate the inventory size increase.

I´d also like to know that, since I´m using the "more Backpack upgrades" mod.

And is 6 the max number of sets or can it be increased ?
I currently use a mannequin mod to "save" my outfits and since I have one for every season + one of most of the festivals.
It takes a lot of room so I made a walk in closet for now XD.

So even if it can´t be increased, it saves me a lot of space, thank you a lot uwu

it doesn't have any effect on inventory, so there's no reason it should conflict with inventory mods - it does rely on Farmer.leftRing and Farmer.rightRing, so any mod that changes how rings work might not work properly with this mod - I doubt there's any problem this mod could cause though, it's pretty simple how it works.

You can change the number of sets in the config.
