Sadly I have confirmed (As of 12 - 26 - 2024) that this mod is NOT WORKING in Stardew Valley 1.6+ :(
This is due to "Content Patcher Animations" not having been updated for 1.6 and it looks like it may be that way for a while. Spacechase0 is working on a fix but they are a very busy person so I wouldn't expect it any time soon. As far as I know there's nothing I can do about animation mods until then. I'm sorry!
I love answering questions, truly! So please ask away in the comments if you've got any issues or you just don't know how to shave properly and need a few hints... Bob is here to help clear up that Fog!
With the update into Stardew Valley 1.6 the mod PFMAutomate has yet to be updated and as such any CUSTOM machines no longer benefit from the AUTOMATE function. They still work, and these pipes still work. Custom machines just can't be automated until Digus (who is a very busy person I'm sure so lets give them some slack) updates PFMAutomate.

Regarding Stardew Valley 1.6
PFMAutomate is not updated to 1.6 yet. I plan to update the mod but I'm prioritizing other mods.
I am having a strange issue of whenever I have 3-4 pipes touching (3way/4way intersection) the wooden floor shows up instead of the connected pipe texture. I have no idea what would be triggering this, any suggestions or how best to start trouble shooting.
Hi, thanks for making this mod! I'm using Stardew 1.6 and the latest SMAPI (4.0.8) - should I still use the Shop Tile Framework mod? (Shop Tile Framework says that it is depreciated in Stardew 1.6, and newer mods should use the shop system in 1.6.)
I'm having a hard time understanding how this mod works. I connected a sequence of machines with a trunk and a shipping bin and using the pipes the items move in the opposite direction to the pipes. I thought this mod would provide an effective way to only send items left from the machine for sale, but it continues to pull unprocessed items.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply I've had some life stuff happen that required my full attention.
I think that's what I initially set out to do but ran into some unforeseen problems. I don't quite remember exactly what it was but I think there's some limitations (or there was at the time) in adding in new flooring types. I think I tried to make them a piece of furniture that you could walk on but the clipping was weird in the upper left hand corner of every square that single pixel was impassable and created a walking hazard so to speak...
I've been looking for something like this! however is there a way to make the pipes their own path instead of replacing the wood/crystal path with the pipe texture
I really do feel like a lot of stuff could be cleared up if people would just read the first sentence of the description on most mods...
As it says in the preview and the description: "Confused with why wooden paths connect machines and chests in Automate? Clear up that brain-fog and add in pipes! Replaces the 'Wood Path' with a pipe!"
Automate has a feature that not many people understood where it allows you to use wood paths like pipes, all this mod here does is replace the wood path with a pipe so it makes more sense. It's really quite a simple mod...

I feel like this is the sort of thing that other people would have pointed out if it was happening to them too so I'm going to assume this was due to an improper installation or some compatibility issue with an obscure mod. If you have any more specifics for me or you have proof that you can recreate this in a clean save with only this mod and its dependencies then I'd be happy to take a deep dive into solving the issue!
Hi first of all I love the mod! Only problem I'm having is that in the crafting menu the pipes are still called wood path and crystal path, once you craft them though the names of the actual items are correct, even the recipe at robin's has the correct name, just not in the crafting menu. Not sure if this was just overlooked or a bug.

I just simply couldn't find a way to change the name in the crafting menu and still have them function as tubes. Soon as I changed the name they stopped working. So I just left it as it is.
Well for starters you need to replace a bit of code yourself manually. And tbh I've never heard of anyone using a mod manager for SDV and actually having any sort of success with that. I think right click extract, drag and drop into mods folder, is plenty easy. Modding SDV is literally a drag and drop modding game you really don't need a mod manager and they add an extra layer of complication for troubleshooting that I myself find absolutely repulsive.
in your picture #2 with the shed, What would happen if I added 2 eggs in the chest, what would happen to the 2nd egg while the first one is in the mayo machine? will it wait its turn or be delivered to the mini shipping bin?
I think the second egg would wait it's turn but I'm not 100%. It functions just like it would it vanilla if the pipes were chests. My guess is the second egg would wait it's turn but it's been years since I played stardew so I don't remember how that works.

UPDATE 02-05-25: There is a temporary work around up! Thanks to IkarosHDD for pointing this out!
Here is the link to the zip from github that works in the time being!
