Sadly I have confirmed (As of 12 - 26 - 2024) that this mod is NOT WORKING in Stardew Valley 1.6+ :(
This is due to "Content Patcher Animations" not having been updated for 1.6 and it looks like it may be that way for a while. Spacechase0 is working on a fix but they are a very busy person so I wouldn't expect it any time soon. As far as I know there's nothing I can do about animation mods until then. I'm sorry!

would it be alright if and when I’m done with my edits if I upload it to nexus? It has your mod as a requirement and only changes the parts of the ui that are missing namely the animated parts lol

I think as far as I understand Content Patcher Animations is down, but I thought all the code from that was just integrated into either Content Patcher or SMAPI now in 1.6+
Am I wrong? Does this not work now? What sort of error are you getting? I am really hazy on how to mod this game now but I could have sworn this still worked right after the 1.6 update. Maybe my memory is wrong... Can you or anyone else either confirm this works or doesn't? I don't have the game downloaded anymore.

This is a conglomerate mod of a few other mods that do the same things but in parts. If you like the animated inventory and don't have the extra ram to support the lag spikes at the top of the hour then you could get the "Animated Inventory Tabs" mod and not get the "Dynamic Shop Status" mod. Or any other mix and match you like. This mod is intended for those users who want all of the bells and whistles in one mod file.
My pc specs are a bit overkill for Stardew Valley so I don't think it was that. Intel i9 12900kf RTX 4090 32 GBs DDR5 5200MHz RAM 2TB SSD Samsung 980 PRO

There's a few options for you here but they are all going to require some manual work on your end. You want starry blue ui mod to replace the original game textures and THEN this mod replace on top of that. You could do that by making one mod dependent on the other forcing starry blue ui to load first. There are other more invasive options but I won't go into detail unless you want me to.
Long story short. Both mods are editing the same files. That means either me, the author or starry blue ui, or you would have to manually edit each image in photoshop/gimp/paint to make them match... Otherwise no matter what sort of compatibility either mod has it wont look right.
I am still getting back on my feat as far as modding goes so I don't have any plans to create more ui art options like one that would match with the starry blue ui at this point.

I’m a little stumped myself. My guess is maybe the wear more rings mod has altered the inventory screen somehow? Do the other animations work? Are things different but the animations just don’t play?
I’m not sure what you’re asking. Are you asking me if I know of a mod that changes the functionality of the UI? I do not know of any mods that change the functionality of the UI. This mod replaces the UI tabs to be animated. It doesn’t change the layout of the inventory or UI at all. I don’t think it’s possible to change the layout of the UI. Do you know of a single mod that changes the layout of the UI? Do you have one in mind that you want to see compatibility with this mod?
Hi, first of all really love the mod! it gives so much life to the UI. thing is, I don't know what's wrong with my dynamic shop thing. it's covered with the season and the weather. is it not compatible with vintage interface v2?
You can either: a) Turn off the dynamic shop status in the config file b) download the vintage compatibility patch contained in the optional files for the Animated UI made I uploaded before this one. It will over write the textures for most stuff to match the vintage style. c) Force this mod to overwrite the vintage stuff by making the vintage stuff a dependent in the manifest of this mod. Or adding “zzz” to the beginning of the “Name:” “NameGoesHere” section in the manifest so it looks like “ZzzNameGoesHere”

got it... thanks for the response! but sadly I got to throw the dynamic shop away cause I think it caused a freeze or stutter sometimes. so I decided to downloaded all the mods except the dynamic shop individually. and so far so good. thank you again for all the wonderful mods you created. I love them! and the visible panning too! a mod that I never knew I needed, thanks!
You can use the config on this mod if you want everything but the shop status. This mod adds some stuff that’s not in the individual mods. Like the little poison animation and the friends gift icon.
Just came across this mod the other day as I'm getting back into Stardew valley. Very cool, thanks alot! The animated icons gives the UI more charm.
I can confirm however the dynamic shop-ui does start to introduce stutters when they open/close occasionally. It may or may not happen every time. I have a pretty beefy rig too so not sure what's going on. Thankfully disabling that setting is stutter free.
I would bet that the Shop-UI might weigh down a system if used alongside a lot of other mods that are constantly checking the time. I only have a 1080 and it seems to work without any stutter for me but I only have ~100 mods so I might just not have hit that strain point yet or there may be a specific mod that doesn't play nice with other mods like this one that are checking the time of day constantly.
