I converted this mod into a Content Patcher pack. Feel free to ask me to remove the mod, or use it as an additional download. https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/migrating-xnb-mods-to-content-patcher-packs.141577/page-70#post-3307526
I do not maintain this mod anymore (wouldn't even remember how). Do what you like with it. Copy it, edit it, update it. If people want to use this mod even though it's currently out of date they have my permission to alter the files to work with the current version and upload it wherever they wish.
Another victim of 1.3 Entering the farm from the south puts you "on" the cliff near the normal exit, half clipping though parts of sprites but I couldn't get off the cliff or exit the same way I came.
Anyone looking for a more up to date hilltop extended, try Ace's Expanded Farms. Does many similar things, different bridges but still better then the vanilla planks. huge space too
I've noticed that using this map in conjunction with A Less Yellow Stardew causes some cliff shadows to be misplaced, and the tiles on top of the quarry to be different colors. Anyone found a way to fix this, or am I stuck with saying goodbye to ALYS? Because this map is boss.
I've followed instructions as ordered, but the hilltop hill below the farm brings up a black box for the stairs. Also, the spouse tiles are a little messed up. Any help with this?
Edit: Never mind. The dirt removal mod got in the way, I just deleted the farm tiles from the xnb loader
I love the new farm addition. I tried the standard version on my current save, despite the warning not to. I was interested to see what would happen. Apparently trees and other organic clutter will sit on top of the water in certain areas. I did change my map from Forest to Hill-Top, but I highly doubt that is what interfered, the warning is there for a reason after all. I created a new save game so that I could play with this map at it's best.
I'm partial to the forest map for my main save and so I look forward to seeing future mods from you. I particularly enjoy that this mod feels as if it could have been a part of the original game. If I could offer any suggestions, I'd like to see a comparison of the Original Hill-Top map vs Extended Hill-Top in the images.
Interesting thoughts. Seems to be people are interested in extensions which are compatible with the other existing farm layouts aswell. I might make more and turn them into a bundle or something. Thanks for your input.
Oh, this looks nice! I'll have to remember this for when I start a hill-top farm eventually. Is there any chance you plan on doing this for other farm layouts? I've really been wanting a simple extension for the standard farm, but one that's compatible with my current save so I don't have to start an entirely new farm.
