Favorite snacks for each of the Vanilla and Stardew Valley Expanded marriage candidates, (and Krobus!) You can buy the recipes from Gus at the Stardrop Saloon. Each Vanilla (and SVE) marriage candidate has a loved reaction to one of the snacks, it's up to you to figure out which! The description should be a pretty big clue, and all recipes have a full range of likes and dislikes for all giftable Vanilla and Stardew Valley Expanded characters.
Many of the recipes use a semi-rare or mid game ingredient, so you may ask, why would I use them instead of just gifting the item? Well, as a bonus, each recipe makes TWO servings. One for Farmer, and one to share! All recipes have BUFFS that I matched (as much as possible) to the personality of the villager that LOVES the recipe.
UPDATE 4/13/2024 Please delete the old files DO NOT Copy and Paste, I rewrote the gift taste files and they will duplicate if you try to copy and paste. Sorry for all the updates, I'm still learning with the new code.
UPDATE 4/12/2024 HAHA Just Kidding on the not making two servings, I figured it out, so you can go back to sharing delicious goodies with your Vanilla and SVE sweeties!
ALSO! The mod has been COMPLETELY rewritten to use the new system, therefore JSON assets is not longer needed (It was wonky and unstable anyway)
UPDATE 4/11/2024 Updated SVE/Vanilla Files for 1.6
//Couple of changes// recipes only make one serving now, if someone can help me figure out how to increase the yield with custom item IDs, please let me know. Secondly, going forward I will not be updating the RSV files, they will NOT work with 1.6. Frankly, the new way of writing mods for recipes is VERY cumbersome and unintuitive, and I don't play with Ridgeside Village anymore, so it isn't something I plan to keep up with.
UPDATE 8/17/2023: Added 5 new recipes to Snack Time RSV for the new marriage candidates (Bryle, Faye, Irene, June, and Zayne) MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE OLD FILE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE.
PLEASE READ Update 8/7/2022: Added 18 recipes for Ridgeside Village marriage candidates (and a certain rolling fruit, because I love her) If you want to use the Ridgeside Village recipes, you MUST have Ridgeside Village installed and all its dependencies. ONLY DOWNLOAD ONE FILE. If you download both, you will end up with duplicate recipes and a TON of errors. The Ridgeside Village recipes WILL NOT WORK without RSV, because there are non-vanilla ingredients in many of the recipes. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
ALL of the recipes for Vanilla Characters and Expanded Characters are also in the Snack Time RSV File, you will not lose access to any recipes.
Update 8/3/2022: Added recipes for the 6 Stardew Valley Expanded Candidates. Magnus' (Wizard) snack will be a loved snack in Vanilla or SVE. All recipes use Vanilla ingredients, so if you do not have SVE installed, they will work just fine, and people will still like and dislike the new recipes, there will just be no one that LOVES them.
