Version 1.0.0
Initial release
A small mod that makes the in-game music loop, making the game a bit less silent. This is especially helpful for people who use TimeSpeed.
The mod integrates with the game's built-in music code, improving compatibility and keeping the same "feel" as the vanilla game, while filling some of the excessive silence. However, there are a few caveats to bear in mind:
The music will go silent after dark (6-8pm depending on season).
There may be a short pause between each loop.
Music will not loop unless you are outdoors or in the mines.
The Pelican Town song will play less often, since the game's conditions to start this song (entering the town while no current song playing) are less likely to be met.
Some of these limitations might be fixed in later versions.
Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.
Compatibility
Works with Stardew Valley 1.5.6 on Linux/macOS/Windows. Should work on earlier and later releases as well.
Linux/macOS: if you get an error loading the mod in the SMAPI console, make sure that at least read permissions are set on the files (chmod 644 or right click on files > properties/get info > permissions...). This is caused by some issue with my SMAPI build setup, I'll try to get the bottom of this and fix the file soon.
