    Is there a mod that allows you to place light sources (say the one from torch, or the one from jackolantern) onto other objects?

    This is wonderful! It works on fire braziers and on Linus's fire too, so cool!
    I haven't checked on other people's fires/chimneys yet.

    Do you plan on adding a blue option? I would like to see a darker blue, like the kyanite mineral, but since you work with gems, I'd also be happy with a lighter blue from the aquamarine. :)

      I saw it, I'll have to look into it.
      I did want to give you feedback to the aquamarine blue though, I hope that's okay.
      It basically makes the same colour as the diamond.
      I tried to take screenshots to demonstrate. In the screenshots, I am standing near the fires with the prismatic shard, which has a pretty dark blue in it (just like my hair), at the bottom are two fires with aquamarine and on the right are two fires with diamond.
      I'll definitely check how to add a custom colour!!

    I see that it's not texture based. So should it work with brullov's fire animations?

      It is texture-based, it uses Game1.mouseCursors, after Content Patcher has edited it.

      What I mean is that the colored fires are generated dynamically by coloring the game's fire texture, correct? So any mod that patches that base fire texture should also be colored?

      Right, the mod creates a greyscale version of mouseCursors on save load, so whatever mouseCursors looks like at that time is what it uses to create the greyscale.
