   really hoping, if its possible !!, that this gets updated for 1.6 ;^; the sound replacement mod is out of date
   its not game breaking or anything but having my pet rabbit meow is unnerving LOL

      Hi, this was always meant to go with PurpleChickadee's Pet Rabbit mod, which is now hidden. However, I made a Pet Bunny Rabbit mod for 1.6 that definitely doesn't have the bunny meow.

      thats awesome! can i add it to a pre existing game file and keep enbymo's mod? if i remove it i think my starter rabbit will to turn into a cat ;-;. also does it work with alternative textures? making their fur the same as my irl bunnies is a bit important to me :,) heh, currently endymo's still works for me it just meows lol

      Can you point me to the mod you are asking about? I checked their profile but did not see one for bunnies (admittedly I gave it only a cursory glance).
      
      If that mod replaces cat images with rabbit images, but you still picked the cat pet at the start of the game (i.e. it was a Content Patcher replacement mod like most pre-1.6 pet mods), then removing that mod will turn the pet back to the cat. However, if your save is updated to 1.6, you can modify your save files to switch your pet to my rabbit after installing the mod. I know because I did this to my own 1.6 save that I made prior to making this mod. Use this guide, but instead of Dog or Cat you'll put Rabbit. Breed is 1 for my mod. For alt textures, feel free to recolor the IconTexture.png (this controls what shows up when you select pet preference in the new character creation screen, and when you adopt from Marnie) and Texture.png. I also wouldn't mind receiving those recolors and perhaps adding them as an actual different breed option in the mod!

   I have Stardew valley Extended and with that or without this doesn't make the rabbit sounds when you i give it love it still meows i tried
   installing it with smapi and without and its the same meow every time i
   pet it after the cutscene getting it it never makes the rabbit noise

   This mod is amazing, im a huge fan of rabbits and im glad this was made!
   EDIT: how do i make the sound play? it still plays the cat sound and i dont understand how to use the sound replacement mod-

      You must download the sound replacement mod for this one to function. You don’t need to do anything else with the sound mod, just download it the same way you did this mod and place it in your Mods folder.
      
      Please note that the rabbit sound is the same as the vanilla one: i.e., very quiet, so you may need to turn up your volume to hear it. This is intentional.

      thanks a bunch! I figured out that the mod folder also had a MACOS version in it and i didnt notice it lol.

   The mod is amazing! FYI anyone who downloads this, *all* cat sounds will be replaced by rabbit sounds, so if you use adopt and skin and adopt other cats, they will also make the rabbit sound.
