I bought the nursery house upgrade 2 seasons ago and my spouse (Elliott) still hasn't asked to have a baby (I'm playing a female farmer). I downloaded this mod thinking I could force the process, but I'm not getting the pop-up like in the images.
I do have Free Love and I'm not married to anyone else. I use Vortex for all my mods. All my mods are updated and I think Smapi automatically updates with Vortex.
Idk why but i married elliott and it doesnt work, when i was married with other batchelors or batcheloretts it worked, but with elliot id doesnt. please help
If anyone is wondering if this mod works in 1.6 update, it does. As Smapi didn't warned me if it was incompatible.
However, I came here to say that for those people who had trouble triggering the question of "Have a baby", it's most likely either another mod affecting this mod, or your save file somehow. As I am also one of those people who couldn't fix triggering the question by renaming the mod folder "!PlannedParenthood". Even the creator said that isn't recommended to do (mentioned in older comments).
Coming to that conclusion myself, I originally had trouble playing a current save from me asking that question already before the 1.6 update, then playing again for 1.6 update to then find out that my farmer didn't give birth on the supposed day. Luckily, I had a backed up an old save file to test multiple times whether it was any other mods affecting this and it wasn't. And my farmer successfully gave birth on the supposed day, still playing on the 1.6 update on my older save file. And this mod does work with Pregnancy and Birth Events and The Farmer's Children. Whereas TFC mod, my original 1st and 2nd children became household npcs and I still can technically have 2 more children which I did in total of 4 children.
Although I would have to loose some progress, I'm happy this mod still works. Unfortunately, I don't know what the exact problem was in my first save file. And it looks like the creator of this mod isn't active as much anymore. If they were, would sharing my save file for them to take a look help maybe? Anyways, thanks if anyone read this thus far. I hope my experience helps anyone who's going through the same thing.
