Open the mod folder. Open the "Textures" folder. Open the "Buildings" folder. Open the "Farmhouse_1" folder. Open the "Summer" folder. Double-click on "textures.json". If your computer doesn't know how to open it, choose notepad or word. Where it says: "ItemName": "Farmhouse_0",Change it to: "ItemName": "Farmhouse_1",Go to File and click "Save" (or Control-S). Close the texture.json file. Now open the "Winter" folder (under the Farmhouse_1 folder). Double-click "textures.json". Change "Farmhouse_0" to "Farmhouse_1" again. Only change the one number, don't change anything else. Save the file. Load Stardew. You should now be able to change the texture of the house to a hobbit hole in Winter and Summer after the first upgrade.
Only the Winter and Summer textures for Farmhouse_1 are broken, so if you have trouble with the above, you'll still be fine once you upgrade your house.
try download the cp version of this mod, you can put both mods togheter in the mod folder then go to robin and buy the paint bucket at the bottom of her shop and go to your house and chage it to the earthy one, that´s the only way I could make this work
I have this mod and it was working fine, but now it just stopped for me too so you are not alone.
I have used it for several saves and was able to get the hobbit hole to appear after each upgrade using the paint bucket. I just upgraded my house and it says the house has no alternative for the season. I uninstalled and reinstalled this mod but it didn't fix the problem.
Friedslick6, here's my log. I am heavily modded but I used most of them on other saves with no issues. The main differences are the Durin mods, Lifecycle, and Light Mod - but they don't touch the way the farmhouse looks.
i had the same issue, after looking at the Generic Mod Config Menu i notice that only the summer house upgrade 1 (i think before the upgrade too) is missing, but once u get to another season or upgrade your house to lvl 3 it might work normally.
The base farmhouse, as well as the 2nd and 3rd upgraded farmhouses, all have all four seasons in the pack. But the 1st upgraded farmhouse only has Spring and Fall. What a strange omission.
Unfortunately I'm not able to replicate this issue. Do you have all of your mods up to date? You can also try inputting the following command into the SMAPI console window: at_reloadand pressing the Enter key to reload the building textures and hopefully set them to the correct season.
I double checked and everything is up to date, I even removed some of my other mods that are for decorating farm buildings. The weirdest thing is my partners house works fine
Ah! I only tested the final farmhouse building and assumed the others would work the same.
This might be an Alternative Textures bug. Let me know if it persists on the final farmhouse upgrade, and if it doesn't, then I'd suggest submitting a bug report on the Alternative Textures mod page.?

UPDATE: Well, I had this problem in summertime Y1, but Fall Y1 I had no trouble changing the house to a hobbit hole.
"ItemName": "Farmhouse_0",
to"ItemName": "Farmhouse_1",
since they're both labeled in the texture files as Farmhouse_0 it only loads the first one otherwise
it should clear things up - it's working in my zero-upgrade house at least

The original sources of this mod didn't include an interior for me to convert. A unique interior would be cool though.
This made me realise that I should edit the description to be a bit more specific on what the mod includes, so thanks for that!
