Hi! If you're looking for assistance with this mod, I need a smapi.io/log to help debug.
(also if you could run a harmony_summary in console before sending the log that'd be much appreciated! Just type those words into SMAPI's console and hit enter.)
I'm probably not going to do another round of updates for 1.5.6 since I do need to move all my mods to 1.6 at some point, but I'll consider that for the next update!
So on vanilla Gunther is directly behind the box? The way the front page was written made it sound like it was easy to relocate the box... What do I need to actually DO to relocate it? cus right now I can't donate to the museum without turning the mod off.
Might have figured this out. And Can't delete a post. sorry Edit 2: Yep. figured it out.
Yeahhh I had to move the box over one tile for SVE, and that tile is directly on the vanilla donation tile. On first installation, it should autodetect, maybe I should just forcibly move it over if I detect it's over the donation tile..... But it's accessible through the GMCM, just use DebugMode to find a good tile for you.
Any idea why it's only showing a few items to buy but I've completed the museum and received the award? I see the Stardop in there so it must be the latest 5 or so rewards I received. No previous rewards though.
I don't do tech support by DM. Can you please provide the log here? The full log, following the instructions pinned at the top of this page. I'll also probably need a copy of your save, zipped and uploaded to a site like catbox so I can look through the mail flags.
The game switched the method it uses to track which items you've picked up about seventeen months ago. I'm using this newer system to check what you've picked up, so my code isn't picking up on the older system at all.
I don't think this is something I can reasonably account for, by the way. For you, I'd recommend just typing debug showmail RarecrowSociety into the black SMAPI console, which will bring up the letter in question, and/or use CJB to spawn in the rarecrows.
Hey, so I managed to completely fill the museum and even got the achievement for it. Was taking a look in the store and noticed a few thing...
Triple Shot Espresso is 2k, kinda high but whatever. I pull that in daily with all my mayo production alone. Crystal Throne is 6k and has a smiley face that I discovered today and can't unsee now. Farm Warp Totem is 2k, a really good price considering they're 5k just buying casino coins but not as cheap as making them with wild honey. Crystalarium is also 2k, that's really cheap for these things considering that they use 2 Iridium bars each. Magic Rock Candy is 20k, pretty expensive but probably cheaper than three omnigeodes from the Desert Trader. Stardrop is 31,108. Wait a minute... STARDROP?! Was this intentional? Haven't checked to see if this is repeatable yet, but I kinda feel like this in a bug/exploit.
....ahhh the stardrop was not intentional, I'll exclude it in the future. I'll also probably exclude the crystalarium entirely, I forgot that was a thing.
Farm totems I won't bother to change, since you can farm casino coins really easily in single player as the slots are weighted in your favor and the slot machine pauses time.
(The triple espresso is priced higher than buying three coffees out of Gus's shop and making your own espresso, btw.)
I don't trust the gambling mechanics in games, especially this one after losing like 4-5 bets on green IN A ROW during my first visit to the fair this playthrough. (I think that happened my first playthrough too... Great way to get me to try out the slots and gambling games later on.) I won the Grange display, so I barely had enough tokens for both the rarecrow and the stardrop after that...
If you want more specific and maybe showing my age a bit, I paid for Porygon in the original Pokemon Red entirely by exchanging cash into casino coins. (I was probably one of the few people that farmed the Elite Four for cash. You laugh, but I still got a complete 'dex. Thanks for the help, sis!)
But in any case, the Stardrop was the main reason for the post. I figured that there were a few things that weren't balanced correctly and just kinda surprised that Espresso was being sold at all, really. If anything, this should unlock the espresso for sale at Gus's saloon instead of the museum.

Do not DM me. I do not do tech support by DM.
I'd love a way to customize the item for the shop sprite, I feel like a cash register would make more sense in my world.

But for me it shows me everything I've picked up.
I'll need your log if you'd want any further debugging help from me though, and likely I may ask for a copy of your save.

(also the espresso is kinda absurdly overpriced :P)
Find a tile that currently isn't being used for anything.
Change the config (GMCM should work) for that tile.
....I forgot to trigger a cache invalidation, didn't I, for GMCM.
