This is such an amazing idea! Wanted something like this so that staying up past 2am didn't feel cheaty.
    Couple of questions -
How much stamina do you lose/ how fast do you lose stamina?
Does how much stamina you lose increase with how long you stay up or is it a set amount?
It appears to be about 20 stamina per 5-10secs.
It started going down at 1:30am but I have a mod tht makes time count by ingame minut instead of ingame 10minuts.
Fantastic mod though! Definitely keeping it installed

This is dang near what I was looking for! I played a bit of Dinkum and loved the way they handled the "Late" time of day, and this is about as close as I'll get, I think. Is there a way to not make it tick under enough to make me pass out unless I use that energy myself?

Am coming back to Stardew Valley and trying mods this time, and gotta say. This mod is pretty balanced in single player mode. I'm not an avid Stardew Valley player, but I was worried I could sustain my stamina forever with food, but early game, most of the time, I want to be selling off the fish rather than consuming it, especially since the stamina consumption is actually quite sizable. This consumes stamina at a decent enough rate that I don't have to stress making it back at 2 every single day. Pretty nice mod!

    Just a couple questions:
    1. Is the rate of stamina consumption constant or does it go up over time (even though time is technically frozen)?

    2. In multiplayer, would it be possible for someone to act on 0 stamina forever so long as the other players are maintaining stamina through food?
If so, it would be nice to adjust the rate of stamina consumption to prevent this from happening. Or increase it over time.

    Edit:
Just for reference for others, stamina starts being consumed at I think -14 stamina per tick (I think about 10 seconds between each tick) once it's 1:40 am. It's an absolutely great single-player mod. I have not tried this in multiplayer.

No, it's constant, at least for now.

In multiplayer, you're correct, it would go until the last person runs out of stamina. Perhaps a future update.

It defaults to 14 stamina every 7 seconds, because 10 ingame minutes is 7 seconds. (or a nice and tidy 2 stamina/second)

In theory you could cheese it in Multiplayer for sure, but that would still depend on one player just sitting there and doing nothing but eating.

What happens if you stay up till past 6am? Does it stop?
Does the game register that it would be the next day, or when you sleep, would it jump to 6am of that same day?

Otherwise all that, I'm downloading the mod.

It actually stops the clock right before 2AM and just drains your stamina instead, so time never advances. If you're about to run out of Stamina though, it'll let the clock advance and you'll pass out like if you had stayed up too late.

Ooh love this idea. I've always kinda hated being on a forced sleep schedule and not being able to stay up a minute past 2. I like being able to stay up later at the cost of energy if necessary (and helps me stop freezing time inside places with CJB cheats just to be able to go to the town, beach, forest, and the mine on the same day...)  Makes energy tonics more useful early on too!

Is this compatible with a multiplayer game?

It should be, but I don't have anyone to test with. With the logic I implemented I think the way it would end up working is time will stay paused until the last user (with the mod installed) runs out of Stamina to keep the clock back. If you find out I'd love to know though!
