I also think he deserves and needs a place to warm up outside of the snow during winter, so I made this.
He's not trapped by a mortgage, or forced to use technology. No frills, no electricity, no modern vices. The cabin is just a much sturdier shelter, and less susceptible to vandalism!
If you want, you can think of it like an abandoned shed in town that Linus fixed up and moves into seasonally.
Or it can be his full-time shelter in Pelican Town, like his tent would be otherwise.

There are several variants of the cabin to choose from.
OUTSIDE: Cabin, Shack, Tent
INSIDE: Cabin, Shack, Rustic Cabin, Tent
You can mix/match as you like to give Linus an interior that you think suits him best. The gallery has images of all the options!
"Cabin" is a cozy, slightly cramped home, made to look like Linus is living there long-term. He has similar belongings to the ones he has in vanilla.
"Shack" is a very sparse, run down shack, full of the absolute bare necessities and a couple creature comforts.
"Rustic Cabin" has a sort of apothecary vibe, and is in better condition than the shack, but not as comfortable as the regular Cabin.
You may also change it to the vanilla tent exterior and interior at any time.
"Old Original Cabin" is the very first version of the mod and is not very well made. If you really do prefer it, "OLD Original Cabin" can still be accessed through the old files. However, there may be tiling issues.
