This is an absolutely awesome mod which fixes a minor issue which had been bugging me for the longest time! Thank you thank you thank you.
I thought that I'd share how I got this to work, being as (for some unknown reason) following the instructions on the main page here didn't over-write (or even give the option to) the original files. So here's what I did, for those of you who, like me, aren't a natural at this whole modding thing:
1. Once downloaded, open your downloads folder (or wherever you have your new downloads go to but windows has it as the downloads folder by default) and right click then "extract all" which will open a second unzipped version of the files. 2. Double click into the file you just unzipped until you find a folder named "assets", right click and copy this folder. 3. Open your mods file for SDV and find the folder for the original "Generic mods config menu" mod. 4. Double click into that folder, then again until you see a folder called "assets". Delete this folder. 5. In the same window where you just deleted the assets folder, right click and "paste" the assets folder from this mod in it's place. 6. Start your game and enjoy your newly matching UI!
I will also add, it's always worth keeping a copy of any mod files which you plan to tinker with so that you can just replace it with a few clicks if you bork it. I have a folder I keep old mod files in, just in case I need them, so I can revert as needed if and when I make a mistake or something doesn't work as expected.
Thank you again, rustyasahalo, for making this for us!
Hey, I feel like this is a dumb thing that should be fairly simple to fix, but mine are still showing up as the original color scheme. Any thoughts on what I'm possibly doing wrong?
