I am not quite sure this is a bug related to this mod, for me it actually is. The preservation press doesn't seems to be working in the current setup. It consumes -5 power, but even though I provide it via a nuclear reactor it isn't working, the time just freezes and there is no output. First I thought I didn't have enough power, but if that's the case the power line wouldn't be yellow but white instead. So I opened the content.json and set the power requirement for the preservation press to "0", reloaded my save and now it is working. To test my theory I set the new value to "1" and it stopped working again.
Maybe you can test it for yourself? If you need a log or additional info, let me know.
There's so many generators now with the new additions. Can you comment about how they are balanced? When should one use one over another, or what is the intended progression? And how do they compare to the vanilla Solar Panel (which seems awfully slow by comparison, but maybe has other advantages like being cheaper/less maintenance/easier to obtain)? Ideally what I'm looking for is some sort of comparison chart or spreadsheet, if that's not too much to ask (you could probably add that as an article to the mod page, I'm sure it'd be helpful for a lot of people).
Request: make the vanilla Geode Crusher require power instead of coal? Now that base Industrialization stopped making the Rock Crusher do that, the vanilla Geode Crusher is the only way to open geodes automatically and it requiring coal is really annoying. Since you need to complete a Special Order to get it, the player should have electricity by the time they get it.
Also, a variant of the Ceramic Kiln that uses power instead of electricity?
Upon placing the Solar Generator, its gives an error stating "Requires different Quality". I had kept it placed down for a while now and beein connected to a Utility Energy Storage, and Energy Consuming Machines and it didnt produce a singl bit of energy. It was placed on my Farm, connected with energy pipes and they were plenty of sunny Days.
