Hello everybody! Thank you for it's positive messages that makes me very happy :) Your suggestions to improve the mod are all taken into account and I try to improve "Natural Color" according to this in a future update.
I would like to apologize for not answering all the people who have problems, but writing a message in English is difficult for me, and very often the problem is explained on the main page, but few people read it all.
Here is a short summary: - My mod works only on Windows, not on Mac, Linux, Android or iOS - I can not remove the blur effect from the "Tilt-Shift" on the game menus.
Read the installation instructions. If SMAPI is asking for a manifest, you did it wrong.
Aka, the content of the download folder goes in the ROOT directory for SDV, meaning where you find the "Stardew Valley.exe" file. NOT in your mods folder.
just in case this helps anyone 3 years later... some clarification on how to install: --------------------
1. download the file (.zip)
2. extract zip file
3. open folder: inside will be two things... - "reshade-shaders" folder and "Natural Color - Launcher" .bat file
4. Click and drag "reshade" folder and "Launcher" .bat file to: - GOG: C:\GOG Games\Stardew Valley or - Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley
5. Double-click on the "Natural Color - Launcher" .bat file to load launcher/start up game.
-------------------- *what I realized was that I couldn't drag the initial extracted .zip file. I had to open it and individually move the "reshade" and the "launcher" files.*
does anyone know how to get the bat file to run on linux (steam deck)? Unable to run the program to install but all other mods work great.. hoping I can use this awsome mod with some helpful instructions from linux users/ Steam Deck.
Genuinely sucks I can't get the bat file to work on steam deck. Even running the bat through steam makes it so it doesn't recognize that it's installed correctly.
EDIT: If you rename the Stardew valley executable to actually have the .exe extension, it works. just rename it back to normal after.
How did you do it? I tried everything but the batch file doesnt recognize the folder its in and the installation doesnt happen..... it just says its missing multiple files and then pretends to do the installation and then quits.
Hello! Having trouble with this. I'm using a Mac. I went to the MacOS folder where Stardew Valley is located and actually can't find Stardew Valley.exe anywhere. I did put them in that folder though (running 1.6 currently) and the reshade is not appearing. Anything I am doing wrong? I've tried reinstalling. Do the files need to stay in the 'natural color' folder? I currently tried all 5 files within inside the MacOS folder.
Is it possible to get this to work on Steam Deck? I have downloaded the test version, unzipped and pasted both folders on the Stardew Valley root folder. But every time I start the game, the re shade is not applied.
I don’t think so. I’ve been trying to get it to work for weeks now but I think it’s incompatible because we’re on Linux, so I downloaded another shaders mod :/
