So this is the reason the grass textures aren't working :

You need to update your version of Alternative Textures (the framework) to at least the 6.1.0 version, as it is the version that adds some support for the tool on grass. Latest version should be fine too.
Hi ! It's not, as i like being able to give permission for people to use my assets, as my permissions state. I didn't give you permission so it's not ok.
I posted it before sending this because I forgot so I asked for permission. It's been taken down. If it's ok to put it back up I will. The only thing that was making it kinda your work was the og textures that I re did so I don't see any problem anymore. They still took it down again tho I don't know why.
oh crap, I don't even have the mod files anymore because they were on the site only. If you downloaded it to check can you send me the files I still want to use them even if i don't put it back on nexus

Your best luck may be to contact Nexus : as they archive most files they may still have it somewhere. Then if you still use my work on one form or another, you can contact me in private message so we can discuss permissions !
So, i can't reproduce the issue. I suggest : - Reinstalling the mod (to verify it's not just a texture that was deleted/missing). - Using the bucket to check if the missing texture is also visible on the bucket panel (you may need to scroll) - Providing a log if the steps above don't solve the issue
If you can, of course, as i understand such things are tedious. But without more context i can't find a cause.
The main difference is that Alternative Textures tools will allow you to change the texture of grass, meaning that you can decide the exact look of a clump of grass, allowing for stuff like, for example, making a patch that is only of clover, and one that is pink and blue. So if you just like random grass and already are using MG, there's no need to change, but if you do like the idea of customising stuff even more, making themed areas, carefully chosing what kind of grass is used in an area, or seeing more of your favorite grass style, then AT is a better option.
