Thanks for the consideration and your reply. I actually use gwen lamps as my main lighting. It's still a lamp-post and not comparable to a lantern. The lamp-posts are one tile taller than a lantern would be. :D
There are lanterns on the docks at the jellyfish festival, and I wanted something like that everywhere. So surprised no one has made it yet!
btw I ended up creating them as furniture in DGA, the only thing is that they are obtainable only through the furniture catalogue, because crafting didn't work correctly as a furniture.
you need to look at the DGA documentation and look up either "ProvidesLight" if you're making it as a craftable, or "Lamp" if you're making it as a type of furniture
