About this mod

New, softer horse skins for Content Patcher, with configurable tack.

Requirements
Permissions and credits

New, softer horse skins for Content Patcher. They look best with toned down world reshades like Eemie’s (pictured), ATD, Foliage Redone, Earthly, etc, although ‘light chestnut’ and ‘light bay’ are a little brighter to fit in better with vanilla color schemes. Includes configurable tack and saddle blankets. First part of a full livestock reskin & additions project.

The size is goofy. It can’t be helped, as there is only a limited amount of space on the spritesheet for their poor squished necks. I tend not to notice it after a while, but if it bothers you, or if you’d prefer more vanilla-style mounts, I highly recommend Elle’s New Horses, So Many Horses, etc.

Config Options:

Horses: Original, Black, Blue Roan, Red Roan, Buckskin, Palomino, Dark Chestnut, Dark Bay, Light Chestnut, Light Bay, Black Stockings, Blue Roan Stockings, Red Roan Stockings, Buckskin Stockings, Palomino Stockings, Dark Chestnut Stockings, Dark Bay Stockings, Light Chestnut Stockings, Light Bay Stockings, Cream, Grey, Black Pinto, Blue Roan Pinto, Red Roan Pinto, Buckskin Pinto, Palomino Pinto, Dark Chestnut Pinto, Dark Bay Pinto, Light Chestnut Pinto, Light Bay Pinto, Black Appaloosa, Blue Roan Appaloosa, Red Roan Appaloosa, Buckskin Appaloosa, Palomino Appaloosa, Dark Chestnut Appaloosa, Dark Bay Appaloosa, Light Chestnut Appaloosa, Light Bay Appaloosa,

All are pictured from the top left corner of the main image, with cream and grey each demoing a tack color in addition (configurable saddle blankets not pictured). ‘Original’ refers to the vanilla horse sprite and is not pictured.

Tack: None, Brown, Black

Saddle Blankets: None, Black, White, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Brown, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Teal, Light Green, Dark Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Pink, Magenta, Purple

Add Generic Mod Config Menu for easy in-game switching. Mod is tested with Horse Overhaul and seems to work well.
