    (Not rude...)
    Why would anyone need this?
When would you need to "combine stacks" in your inventory?

I've had instances where my chest was full and I didnt realize I had 4 small stacks on Coal that could be combined to make space.. its a Quality Of Life mod, where instead of moving each stack one by one it all moves with the press of a button.
Not necessary, but definitely helpful <3

Yeah, I'm with the other guy. Don't understand the point (unless it can pull from multiple chests, to stack into one?)

Otherwise, as far as my experience goes; when you pick up an item, or click an item to transition it between your inventory/a chest, if there is already at least one of that item, it will automatically stack. The only way to wind up with multiple stacks in the same inventory/chest is if you are intentionally splitting the stack and placing the split of stack into another slot. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've just never wound up with multiple stacks of the same item, in the same inventory container, unless I purposefully did so (and why would I?)

Does this mod and your Stack Everything mod work together or should I just pick one?

Hey spiritofjon, they both do slightly different things. This one will stack items together when you press a key, and Stack Everything allows things that couldn't normally be stacked to be stackable. So with both installed they should work together and at a key press also stack furniture, etc :)

Great mod! This and all your other mods are very useful. Thank you.

I did find a bit of a funny bug with it though. In Stardew Valley, I have my keys configured so that my player moves around with the arrow keys. But when I set the config of this mod to the S key, it would trigger whenever I hit the down arrow key. If I set it to R, it activates when I right click. I've also noticed this with your other mods as well, just fyi, and I'm on a mac, if that matters.

Hey moonstruckmuse, thanks for the kind words! :)

That is a weird bug! I'm on windows and I'm unable to reproduce the things that you've mentioned - either by using S with down or R with right click. I'll try to investigate with a friend who is on mac and let you know if I figure something out.

Unfortunately, my friend on a mac was also unable to reproduce the problem. From a code standpoint, I also can't see how this would occur. Maybe there are some other programs on your computer sending inputs to the game or something?

In any case, it would be best to update SMAPI to the latest version and see if it still occurs.

Okay, thank you for looking into it. I'll make sure everything is up to date. I appreciate you trying to recreate the error I got so thoroughly!
