About Jeon
Jeon has 2 types. One is a wide spread of dough like pancakes or crepes, the other is a bite-sized dough like Fillet.
It is eaten side dishes or as a snack for alcohols. Especially on rainy days, can often see people looking for Pajeon with alcohol, in Korea.
There is always more than one Jeon on the party celebrate table or Chuseok(Korean Thanksgiving) memorial service table.
The traditional method of making it's dough is to add ingredients to flour, but in modern times, usually use a product called Buchim-garu instead flour. Buchim-garu is a mixture of flour with salt, sugar, and starch, similar to Self Rising Flour.
Most name of Jeon is formed "material name + Jeon". For example, Pajeon is Pa(spring onion) + Jeon.
