Hi. Is this compatible with the Looking for love mod? Because that mod has some Gus dialogues also. I'm wondering which one will work or if they'll mix together and both work anyway.

Hey, haywrites I made a small fix for the CP version that was not working as it should (At least for me) as the Saloon lines did not let the new dialogues to actually apear. Also I modify a bit his dialogue when you giving him a gift, for some reason it was using the same lines that Caroline has, nothing that change at all the mod it self.
Get a load of red text in SMAPI something about this Gus file being xml wrong or something. I take it out and everything works again, load game and new games didnt work at all.
Make sure you put it in the right directory! Stardew Valley\Content\Characters\Dialogue
There's no sophisticated parts in this: technically it doesn't have the means to break anything. However, if you use something that changes Gus in any way, it might be a conflict.
But again, this mod just swaps the dialogue around. Hope you can find out whats up!
seriously kudos to you for taking so so much time to do this for all of us nuts <3 I was wondering if you would be doing any overhauls on any of the marriage candidates? Alex is my bb and I would literally die if you got your creative hands on his dialogue uggg
I would do it myself personally but then I feel like I know everything he says then RIP I love the surprise and new dialogue when I first see it.
If not, then thats cool! Just a suggestion! Either way, I love looking at all your writting! Keep doing you <3
oooohhh! i love all your narrative rewrites, and im excited for this one as i always have a soft spot for barkeep characters! (also emily is my love n i hope it expands on their friendship! ^^ )
i'm looking forward to replaying stardew with all these new lines to get to - unfortunately im already at 10 hearts in my current game :/
I'll be releasing a Perfect 10 edition of Gus soon, where I take all the dialogue and make it change for every day of the year! That way you can see dialogue you may have missed. Keep an eye out for it!
I have Perfect 10 editions of the Willy and Clint mod available now as well.
