The issue with SMAPI saying this mod is outdated should be fixed with the latest version (1.0.4) and compatibility with the Solarium mod has been added!
Hello! This mod should work as-is for 1.6! SMAPI will output an small error message about the mod being out of date, but it will still work just fine! If you have the Gender Neutrality Mod be sure to turn off the bath house options for that mod otherwise you will get another error message in SMAPI! I will update the version number later so SMAPI will stop giving the out of date message, but again the mod should work just fine!
Hi Hanatsuki, I have the Gender Neutrality mod that opens both sides of the spa building already. JW whether this mod is needed to work with the Hot Springs mod (would GN stop working for this building if convetred to HS?).
Hi there! If you want to use the Hot Springs mod with the features of the Gender Neutrality Mod you WILL need this mod. To use this mod together with the GNM simply change the bath house config settings in the GNM to false and this mod will take care of the rest! Thanks so much for your response! I've turned off the settings for bathhouse doors and tiles for GN in the gen config menu and just added your mod. Very glad to hear that it's compatible w the solarium addition, which I've also dl'd but have yet to unlock in the game. One more question: does it matter which version of the Hot Spring Bathhouse mod I've got? I think I have the CP version but I don't think that's the original referenced on your page. (not really sure what the difference is, except CP is a little smaller file size). Thank you for your help :>
Oh sorry about that! You will actually need the Content Patcher (CP) version of the hot springs mod for this mod to work! I believe the CP version is by Nanogamer7, easiest way to know if you have the right one is to see if my mod is loading correctly in your SMAPI console (if you don't know how to do that you can also just check to see if the hot springs are appearing correctly in-game). Sorry for any inconvenience!
Also just a general note, if a mod has two versions and one is marked CP version you MOST LIKELY want to use the CP version. Content Patcher mods offer easier installation and increased compatibility compared to XNB mods. Thank you very much for the clarification and detailed explanation! I truly appreciate the support. Once I got the right files in place, everything is working nicely. I hadn't realized that the original HS mod was XNB. Not sure why they even have them listed on here anymore bc as far as I understand they're obsolete. I love learning about mods stuff, it's become like 50% of the game for me XD!
As for why the XNB mods are still around it's probably mostly because the original authors simply didn't remove them from Nexus. Otherwise they could be around mostly for redundancy. For example, if Nanogamer7 were to remove the CP version of the Hot Springs mod for whatever reason I could use the XNB mod version to recreate my own CP version of the Hot Springs mod (assuming the XNB mod author allowed use of their files of course) this allowing the mod to continue on. But aside from edge cases like that I would say XNB mods are, indeed, obsolete.
Also since you seem very interested in mods/modding might I recommend taking a crack at making something yourself? Content Patcher has a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it is fairly easy to use! If you'd be interested in that I'd love to help you get started so shoot me a PM or discord me! But if you're not interested, no pressure either!
So i saw that we need to use an old mod that changes the bathhouse to use this. I'd LOVE this mod, but i already had a mod that changes it (just first room, a ladder to go up in a new nice area). Yikes, i forgot about it somehow.
If you ever make a new version where the first room at least won't change, and just open the doors for both male and female... wait, that's not possible, is it? Ah frick! Same area can't have 2 or more mods... hmm.
It's the Solarium mod... i'll ask the creator if the ladder can be placed outside, too. Then i can use both XD Never hurts to ask, the answer might be less fun, tho, haha!

I'm a bit lost, SMAPI is telling me to update to 1.0.3 of the mod, but when I download the file from here it says it's 1.0.2? Am I missing something? It's not really a problem, just wondering.
Oops, that would be because I forgot to update the Manifest file I believe, apologies for messing that up... I'll get this mod bug free at some point I swear... Thanks for the feedback I'll try to fix it soon!
just out of curiosity, what's the reason this requires the original mod to be installed? I checked its permissions and it seems to allow publishing new updated versions so if not that, then what?
Hi and thanks for the question! I required the original mod mostly to try to sort of pay homage to it. If you have a reason I shouldn't do this please let me know, it would be easy enough to change if there is a good reason to do so! Thank you again for your comment!
Ahh okay, well to alleviate those fears (and if my understanding of Content Patcher is correct) newer versions of Content Patcher are always backwards compatible with older Content Packs. So the worst that could happen is the content pack simply would not work properly but should never harm your saves etc. (Please note that this isn't true for all SMAPI mods, but should be for all Content Patcher based mods/content packs)

In any case, the hot springs mod should work without any problems, however if you DO happen find any bugs please be sure to let me know!
Uff, I can't use it, but I want to, it says that both this and the original Bath House Hot Spring are trying to change the same thing, so it will not apply either, but the original mod is stated as required for this to work, what am I doing wrong?

My reason to use this isn't LGBT related, but i think such small community in the game, should be able to look at each other even naked, if they want. No feeling ashamed, just being natural together.
This game is my "second world" to escape society, so may aswell make it very different and a family like community... which is why i'll use the 18+ mod where you can have fun with more people XD
Not as much realism, just a nice and shameless time.... you, too, Linus. No feeling shame from eating trash XD Same for George's disability and his and Evelyn's age. This isn't planet Earth, this is a whole other galaxy.
