Hi! Just found this mod and I'm super excited to use it, but it wasn't zipped when I downloaded it. Do I need to extract it still, or am I good to just pop it in my mods folder? (Sorry for the question aaaaa ;;)

EDIT: Figured it out, now have a leafeon buddy for my forest farm <3

I am so sorry for the late reply. I am super stoked you love this mod.

I usually keep either a Shiny Eevee or a Sylveon.

I'm hoping I can find a pixel artist who can help me with the shiny versions of the eevolutions that I don't have eventually, but it's not a priority unfortunately.

I can do the art but I can't code so if U send me paint files I could do the art and send them back.

I just loved it! Is it totally random or is it a way to choose from the eeveelutions?

You use the Scissors that you get from Robin to change the cat. This does require [Alternative Textures]. You do have to start with a(or using another mod, get another) cat.

Thank you so much! But I don't know what scissors you're refering to. Maybe the Shears that you buy from Marnie?

So, Alternative Textures gives Robin some things you can buy. A paint bucket, a set of scissors, and something else that I don't remember. The scissors are what you need. Scroll to the bottom of her inventory.

This isn't working on my steam deck. I have 5-6 other AT content packs on here and they work fine, but this one doesn't show categories properly.

Do you still have the error codes from SMAPI?

I don't have a Steam deck, and this was never tested on the Steam deck. This mod still works great for my Stardew Valley, even on a new PC.

Sorry for the late response. I don't get many opportunities to check this often.

I don't have Linux, so I can't test on Linux to see what's going on. The last person who had this issue changed the textures folder to Textures (bringing the case to upper). Please tell me if that works, and I will make a mod set for Linux with the change.

      Sorry for the late responses.

Edit: I have finally got Stardew Valley installed on my new PC, I'm going to go back to work on the mod and see what all is going on and what updates must be made. Also, re-read over my last bugs and redownloading my mod, you'll have to change the case to upper, not lower. I'm working on making 1.0.3 soon to fix that.

I also shared them with a Stardew Valley fan page on Facebook. I am planning on doing an update, but I haven't had time lately. I will post there when it gets done. I am gonna try to add the shinies I don't have, and erase some of the shadows that are a little too big for the sprites.

Hello, I tried to download the file but only got a 7z file and it opened up as a Notepad file. Is there a file pack, if any or any possible fixes? Thank you!

Do you have 7zip? You can use it to extract the files from the zip and place them in the mods folder. (Note: 7zip is free to use, takes almost no room on your computer, and has no ads. Simple program, massive quality.)

If that's not the problem, let me know and I will run some tests and get back to you. I am using the mod myself, downloading my updates through Vortex, and changing my own profiles so that I can test the mod.

Oh, it worked! I wasn't able to download 7zip but I am using Nanazip as an alternative. But it let me extract the .7z and add it to my Mods folder. Thank you for your help & for this awesome mod! <3 :)

Sooo.... I might be able to do that. There's some scripting for Alternative Textures that does make that possible. I just haven't had the time to do the other request that I have had. Been dealing with a new job and life getting in the way.

On the other hand, if you feel up for trying it, you're most certainly welcome to, just make sure the other picture authors are aware that you are trying. (Names on front of mod page). It is relatively easy, just make sure everything is named correctly.

You purchase the Scissors through Robin, the scissors themselves are a part of [Alternative Textures]

Firstly wanted to say I love this mod! Eevee has always been my favorite Pokemon! I was just wondering, why the shadow underneath Vaporeon and Jolteon is so large compared to the other models? It looks SO DARK in game it surprised me the first time I saw it.

The model is larger, and the sprite sheet uses a larger shadow as part of the sprite itself. I can probably fix that given a little time, but I honestly like it. Would you like me to fix it for ya?

I'd like it to be a little less dark, but ultimately it's your mod and your art, and if you like it the way it is, then that's fine

Sooooo, it's not my art. I do have to say that, because if I don't, I can get the mod removed/destroyed, and me shot/stabbed/clubbed/mobbed/[insert horrible things here for art theft], but I can see what I can do for you. It will take me a few days.

Thanks for the mod! I've been using the xnb version of Umbreon forever, so it's nice to have an actual mod version. jsyk tho, I had to capitalize the textures folder in order for it to work.

You're very welcome! I just compiled each one I saw from the nexus, trying to get them all together in a single spot. Eevee is my fav pokemon, and I wanted to share what I compiled.

Hm. I don't have that problem on mine. I wonder if it's an error with the mod loading? It specifically works lowercase for me. Can you send me the error it gives you when it doesn't work? Also, I do use the Vortex Mod Loader, which does help me keep everything running smoothly.

      Sure! It says:

[Alternative Textures] Error loading content pack Eevee Cat Alternative Textures Pack: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path [...]/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Mods/[AT] Eevee Cat/Textures'.

I just changed the folder name from "textures" to "Textures" and it worked. I'm on linux btw, maybe that's why?

Interesting. I have no idea why it is different. Maybe different versions of the previous codes? I know I am up to date, but I am also on PC.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
