Hi! Since this mod has been broken, I made a quick fix that combines elements from other, currently functional, NPC adventures content packs. I haven't texted it extensively, but at the very least I was able to get Lavril to follow me, say her dialog, and fight monsters, without red error text in smapi or anything. If you encounter an issue, do let me know! If the mod author wants me to take this down, just say so and I will :)
A couple notes: since I mainly made this for personal use, and only posted it here as an afterthought, a few dialog lines are specific to my playthrough. You can change it in the dialogue.json by ctrl+f the words and replacing them. The two things I put were Lavril calling the player "mom" in her post-adoption lines, which you can change to "dad", any term you prefer, or use @ for her to just say your name. And I use the Rasmodia mod, so you can change "Rasmodia" to "Rasmodius" if you play with a male wizard. That should be everything you might need to change lol
Sup, Bro i was looking now for anyway to use she as a companion! Is everything working fine ? If soo take this Fix of ur's and UP as a new mod.. cause the original was been abandoned for a long time. And maybe could u updated Lucikiel too ?
Hi, thank you for your interest! I'm waiting for a few things before I upload this as a standalone mod, specifically: I need to test Lavril's high heart/post-adoption dialog; permission from Arknir to share this; possibly permission from a couple other mod authors whose code I looked at to make sure I was reformatting the mod right; maybe if I have time I'll polish up the mod a bit, but I don't really intend to maintain it unless another update breaks it again.

Thank you so much for this update. I'm having similar SMAPI error issues with the Shiko NPC adventures and Riley NPC adventures mods. Could you take a look at those as well?
Hi there, not sure if this is the right place to ask for help. My game crashed when I brought Lavril along to an area in East Scarp mod (access through the smuggler's den in one of the doors that took me behind a waterfall). Here's my log:

Hi! I found error message in my smapi after updating the lavril main mod, its said " Unable to initialize companion `Lavril`, because this NPC cannot be found in the game. Are you trying to add a custom NPC as a companion? Check the mod which adds this NPC into the game. Don't report this as a bug to NPC Adventures unless it's a vanilla game NPC. ".
The Void Companion doll in the Hat Mouse store appears if you have Peaceful End's Custom Companions mod installed with Lavril. It is separate from the NPC Adventure pack.
I assume it is just a simple drag into the mods folder and done? If not, how to correctly install this as I assume 5 hearts minimal is for npc companions though I am at 8 and can't request Lavril to follow.
