Details
This mod is intended to be a lightweight, balanced way to start a new game without starting from square 1. On your first day at the farm, a letter will arrive in the mail, which offers a choice of goods. Each possible choice is geared towards a certain skill.
- Farming (Crops) -> 25 Basic Sprinklers
- Farming (Animals) -> Supplies for a Coop and Chicken; Talk to Robin to build your Coop.
- Foraging -> Upgrade your axe to a Steel Axe
- Mining -> Upgrade your pickaxe to a Steel Pickaxe
- Fishing -> Fiberglass Rod with lots of Bait
- Combat -> A decent sword and boots
- Money -> Just money
The loan is tracked by a quest entry in your journal. As long as the loan is active, 15% of earnings from shipping goods will be collected as interest. (Sell your goods directly at shops to bypass this!)
By default, the loan amounts to 10,000g. This can be repaid at your mailbox, either in increments or all at once. Repay your loan quickly to avoid substantial interest payments.
Multiplayer
This mod supports multiplayer!
Make sure all players have the same version of the mod installed.
Each farmer will be offered their own loan, and their debt is tracked individually. Interest collection depends on whether money is shared or separate.
- Shared money - Interest is collected on all shipped goods, as long as any farmer has debt.
- Separate money - Interest is only collected on goods shipped by farmers with debt.
