These fences are so cute!! Thank you for creating this mod.
I also wasn't able to get the assets to load with Content Patcher at first. I didn't get any error logs via SMAPI so this vexed and confused me.
For some reason using "Action": "EditImage" instead of "Action": "Load" in the content.json was what fixed this for me. I don't know why Load didn't want to work for this, but thought I would share what fixed this for me. Happy modding!
Thank you! I will try and fix the official version soon I just literally had no idea what was wrong with it lol, I recommend downloading the AT version in the meantime as it supports me and lets you mix and match different types <3
hi! i love this texture but i can't seem to figure out how to get it to stay on my fences in all seasons rather than just spring, unless that's the intention!
heyyy! how can i make it so it is just the picket fences when i place them and not randomized between these fences and the originals? thanks if you can help!!
Are you using AT or CP? AT you need to buy the bucket or paintbrush and change each fence, CP might be broken but still shouldn't be displaying this behavior?
I'm in year 3 in my modded farm and had just been using SVE fence replacements until now. I had downloaded the CP version, which didnt work until i turned off the configs for SVE ofc. The fences are really really beautiful /gen, buttt because im in late game going for perfection i use hardwood fences now, and unfortunately my game only replaces the normal wooden fences. I'm not totally sure whether it's meant to replace hardwood too or not, nonetheless I'm very excited to use it in my earlier-game saves, it's just a slight bummer for this save
I can't even remember if it's meant to change both tbh but you can easily change this by going into the jsons and replacing whatever value wood fence is for the hardwood fence value
Late reply here, but I edited the content json to replace the hardwood fences in the CP version. You just need to change all the Fence1 lines to Fence5 and it should work!
ok i feel dumb, so whoever needs this here ya go: I thought the fences already loaded in with my farm land would change, but thats not the case you have to craft the fences and use the paintbucket tool, (I was using it on the fences already loaded) if you have the "generic mod config menu" it def helps you to see all the mods you have including the ones for alternative textures which you can see for the fences, (and other mods for AT) and which colors you want to enable. Also to get the arch you have to put down a double gate(two gates next to each other) and use the paintbucket. (I got the mod to work for me, it works)

Open the config file and rewrite it as follows
{
"Flowers": "true",
"Color": "w",
"Gate type": "flowers"
}
