This mod is currently unmaintained. It IS updated for 1.6.
I've decided to step back from Stardew modding for the time being, due to general burnout, which I already felt during 1.5.6, and has only gotten worse with the 1.6 release. Who knows, maybe I'll come back to modding this game one day, but for now, it is what it is.
If you're interested in maintaining the mod (just updates, bugfixes, compatibility patches, but maybe new features too?), let me know via a NexusMods DM, or on the Stardew Valley Discord server, or a Discord DM (my handle is @shockah) - I plan on giving mod page edit access to anyone interested, and also switching all DP to the maintainer.
surprised this works in 1.6.9 and later, minor bug I found in the newer updates when going through a transition, animations don't play or maybe it stops the player from briefly freezing in place after the transition. Looks like they are sliding on ice, you have to continue moving to see it, but it's there. I have many mods but found that deleting the mod and putting it back takes it away and back, so just so you know it might be a me thing.
Love the mod btw just a minor visual bug, nothing game breaking.
edit: after testing it more it's tied with "Movement while swinging" configs and having the tool or weapon highlighted if the config is enabled. edit again: its not just transitions but anything that would normally freeze your character in place just like picking up forageables makes you skate on ice, of course while holding a tool enabled in the config.
Unfortunately, I had to disable this mod. It interacts badly with the Jump mod, making you jump farther than you should while holding an item or weapon tweaked by this mod, resulting in jumping off the edge of maps and into places where you may get stuck.
Is the old version still working in 1.6? I found a glitch in it where you move around roughly 10x speed if you are charging a tool but I can't replicate it in the 1.6 version so was wondering if the old one still worked
hi!! since the last update i've been having a conflict with this mod and yet another harvest with scythe mod, where when i right click to harvest a forage item with the scythe, my farmer gets stuck mid animation and i can't switch tools or do anything unless i collect another item or change locations. taking out don't stop me now fixed the issue buuuut i really hate playing without it lmao. it's not that big a deal honestly but i figured you should know about it
Heyo! This mod is awesome, tool use is much easier now :D I wanted to ask about something that I'm not even sure is a bug but is kinda funny to me. During certain tool using animations, the hair for the player character seems to clip through their head a bit? This may be supposed to be an animation thing but I have the buzz-cut hairstyle and so it just looks like I go bald for a second lol. Is this intentional?

BEST MOD EVER!! 😍 No more double watering the same spot because of awkward positioning! This together with the skythe harvest mod makes harvesting my fields a blast! So happy I found this, thank you!! 🙏💜
