It seems like this mod and the better junimos mods are conflicting each other because this one has the same DLL file. This is the error message I get: - Better Junimos 2.0.4 because its DLL couldn't be loaded: Could not load 'D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\BetterJunimos\BetterJunimos.dll' because it was already loaded. Do you have two copies of this mod?

I found the issue. I installed them at the same time. I installed better junimos first than ran the game once and then this one.  it seemed to help, no smapi errors anymore. But the junimos don't seem to listen with the signs next to the crop field. I had a field of rice and a field fro taro. I put the signs up and they still planted rice in the taro field.

Junimos not obeying signs is likely due to you overlooking a line of text from the description. "Also in the configuration of Better Junimos, the plant ability should be disabled."; Try doing as such and disabling planting for BJ itself so this mod can take over the process.

Hi, I am getting a method not found error in smapi, I've reinstalled the mod and tried running better junimos then installing.  But I am still getting the error in smapi.  I have disabled the plant crops in the better junimos config.  Here is a link to the log with the error. https://smapi.io/log/c4f7e768ff744c089fad8b3d37f9ecc5

Hi, I've been trying this mod out. I couldn't get the juminos to learn the ability to plant in specified fields, so after looking at the description, I disabled the 'plant crops' option in BJ. Which let them learn it. But now that they have it, it's like they go to start planting and then glitch out. They just sit on a tile and freeze, though they do have seeds in inventory. Their other behavior- watering, gathering, seems unaffected as far as I can tell.

Hi, I've been trying to get this to work but I don't know what's actually wrong. I did make sure to set "PlantCrops" in the Better Junimos config file to false, so I can almost guarantee it's not that. I paid 1 starfruit to unlock "Plant in separate fields" but the Junimos don't do anything - not even regular BJ planting behavior. In my SMAPI window, there's a huge wall of error text that I just cannot understand. It says "method not found" and displays a file path that doesn't exist as far as I can find (or at least access). It hurts my brain to try and figure out, please help!
Here's the SMAPI log [specifically filtered to show the Junimo error]
    Thanks!

How do you make this work? No errors in SMAPI log, Junimo progression tracker says 'Plant in separate crop fields: enabled', yet the Junimos continue to do whatever they want, I've tried signs with seeds, signs with produce, sign on top left corner, top right, centre of the field, fields are separated with paths, running out of ideas to try.

This is likely due to you overlooking a line of text from the description, "Also in the configuration of Better Junimos, the plant ability should be disabled."; Try doing that and see if they still don't respect the signs.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. The smapi log says the mod installed perfectly, but the junimos seem to ignore the signs and plant seeds anywhere in the order they appear in the junimo hut (as normal), as though the mod isn't installed at all. Does anybody have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

      Vortex gives me this report:

      **************************************************
      * Files not deployed
      **************************************************
      BetterJunimosCropFields\BetterJunimos.dll.vortex_lnk
      BetterJunimosCropFields\BetterJunimos.pdb.vortex_lnk
      BetterJunimosCropFields\BetterJunimosCropFields.dll.vortex_lnk
      BetterJunimosCropFields\BetterJunimosCropFields.pdb.vortex_lnk
      BetterJunimosCropFields\manifest.json.vortex_lnk

Why is it not deploying the mod's files? How can I fix this?

Oh, this is ridiculous. Better Junimos has a deploy order of 99 and Better Junimos Crop Fields has 11. I guess BJCF isn't deploying because it depends upon BJ which isn't deployed at the time BJCF tries to deploy? Any idea how to fix this, because Vortex won't let me change the deploy order manually

Can I have fields with sings in them (for designated crops) and fields with no sing to all others crops under the same Junimo Hut?

This looks awesome. Just to be sure, it works with custom crops right?

I'm not sure actually. There is nothing in there that should exclude custom crops.
But I haven't tested it, so I can't say for sure. If you test it out, please let me know.
