I'm having an issue with this mod. I noticed whenever I would either open a chest or the shipping container, any information about an item was gone when I would hover the pointer over each of them. It doesn't show anything. I have version 1.2.29 of the game and 1.12 of SMAPI. Does anyone know what would cause this?
Don't know specifically, but it likely has to do with the fact that the most recent version for the mod was for the beta version of SMAPI 1.10, not even the finally 1.10 version. The more SMAPI versions that come out, the worse this mod gets. The original mod creator is MIA and this updater seems MIA as well.
I love this one and I have no idea how you made the friendship heart progress thing or where it came from but i need it in my life. I would also love it if this had enemy healthbars. Is this something we could have added? :> Also one detail that could maybe be put in, is the choice of wether you want the game to inquire as to wether you do want to eat this item or you just missclicked. xD
When I hover over spring onions in Cindersap Forest, they're listed as "Copper Ore" which made me laugh, but is a mistake. It's the only bug I've encountered so far though, and I'm using SMAPI 1.11. "
Yeah, as this person seems to be MIA as well, it probably is unlikely. Which means I'll be back to using multiple addons (some not quite as good) in order to get the same functionality.
Not sure if this is the place for random bug report-y type things, but I figured I'd mention that I've been playing the 1.10 SMAPI beta version after 1.2 was released yesterday, and have noticed two issues. The first is upon startup, the game chugs hard, and the console is just a flood of errors. I read through them and while I am absolutely not a programmer or a coder, I didn't see anything that specifically pointed to the UI suite being the cause (the other mods I use are CJB Cheats/Item Spawner, Teh's Fishing OVerhaul, and GetDressed, for what that's worth).
The issue that I am quite certain pertains to the UI suite however has to do with the item price tooltip that pops up when mousing over a sell-able item. The information is no longer displayed, and the console spits out constant errors which leads to a pretty severe framerate drop as well.
Just wanted to say that I love the mod and it's made such an impact on my third playthrough. Really awesome work, and hopefully this info has some use!
I think the first problem is GetDressed. I had the same problem and it stopped when I removed it. As for the second, I'm having the same problem. I'm also crashing the moment I go to sleep at night but only sometimes.
Yeah, you're definitely right about GetDressed. I found an updated version by Pathoschild on the Stardew Valley forums that fixed that issue, thankfully. I'm still using the UIModSuite, but just turned off the additional item info tooltip and installed CJB's item sell price mod instead. It's not quite as detailed and helpful as the info displayed in this mod, but it works alright in the meantime.
Also experienced a crash like you described which was really annoyingly after I had spent the entire day laying out my farm on the last day of winter. As a result, I went ahead and grabbed the save anywhere mod just to ensure that this wouldn't happen again. I'd definitely suggest that one if you've had any more crashes like that!
Version for SMAPI 1.10 It works, but there are errors in the console! My game version 1.2 Release - 24.04.2017! Could you add Russian? I could help in this.
Yeah, works but tons of errors in the console as the game goes on. Also I noticed the icons underneath the money count will duplicate if you just quit to title and not quit to desktop. Likely because quit to title wasn't in the previous release of the game but is in 1.2.
I'm sure there are other bugs as well. I'm currently using the beta version for SMAPI 1.10. Really hope this gets updated. This is by far my favorite mod and I was sad when the original creator stopped updating and excited to see someone else decided to make it SMAPI 1.9 compatible.
Can you please tell me what the dice means, i'm thinking the luck you have that day but it says maybe you should stay at home today. is that because it has a 3 and the tv says luck isn't with me today?
Hey, the dice give similar info the TV does, just with different wording.
It will tell you whether your luck falls into one of four levels :
"You're feelin' lucky!!" "Feelin' lucky... but not too lucky" "You're not feeling lucky at all today..." "Maybe you should stay home today..."
With descending order of luck. The number on the dice *never* changes, but the *colour* does! A Green/Blue Dice means you have good luck, while a red one means bad. A white dice is more neutral, and can either be slightly good or slightly bad.
High there, thanks for commenting. I had gathered that while playing, thank you for saying though. Would be good if something was in the description explaining it, but then again you learn it pretty fast
