As a Scot, I would LOVE if this outfit could be added for the player character - although, I appreciate that might be a lot of work. Would love to wear a kilt for my own in-game wedding.
Is this mod compatible with the Season Villagers - Slightly Cuter Aesthetic mod? If so, how would I go about making them work together? I love this version of him in a kilt!
Your understanding of folk customs and history is amazing. This module is so good. Eliot is so beautiful in this dress. (I used a translator because English is not my first language)
I've been looking into possibly making a kilt for the player farmer to wear, but it would take a lot of work since there are at least 126 unique kilt sprites that would need to be created for full functionality as pants. I've been thinking of making one though, but it will probably take a while before it's released.

I'm not sure about having him wear a kilt ALL the time, but I have been thinking of making him wear a kilt at special events, like the Flower Dance, Feast of the Winter Star, etc. In the toddler seasonal sprite package I'm doing for Elliott, I'm incorporating the Lockhart clan pattern into some of the outfits; the boys might even have their own little kilts to match their dad at festivals.
Oh, lovely work on this, it looks great! <3 If you like, I can add compatibility for your mod to Diverse Stardew Valley, either by having our wedding outfits for Elliott disabled if your mod is detected or if you're okay with it, by adapting it for DSV's Black Elliott variant as well as vanilla Elliott (no reason why Black Elliott couldn't be Scottish, after all!) and including it as an option only if your mod is detected. So either option would require users to install your mod and it wouldn't need anything on your behalf other than your permission and your preference on which you'd prefer, I'd take care of all the work :) Please let me know what you think!
(also as a minor note, I notice you're using SVO in your screenshots :) If you're interested, you can actually use DSV as a complete replacement for SVO now that SVO's been taken down, since you can set all the characters to use the vanilla designs, plus DSV's still being updated and adding new content. It's on ModDrop if you feel like checking it out! :) )

Well, I can't really help with SVE, sorry :P But for DSV, it's all good, I can just download the files & then adapt them. DSV 3.0.0 will add the alternate wedding outfits from our add-on pack into the main mod, so I can include Scottish Wedding Kilt as an additional option that's only available if your mod is installed :)

Really looking forward to seeing this in-game when I BFF Elliott, especially as I have DSV :D All your designs are so cool - have you thought about doing some to match the ethnicities in DSV? I bet your Romani Haley/Emily outfits would be *amazing*.
Thanks! <3 Currently the DSV-compat is only set up for marriage rather than PPAF's commitment ceremony, but I'll DM you about it :) And DSV-matching wedding outfits on the wishlist, yeah! I need to do more research into whether Elaho's Ukrainian Emily & Russian Haley outfits are appropriate for Romani Haley & Emily, but if they're not, I'll adapt them for vanilla and possibly Black Emily & Haley and do my own ones for the Romani variants :)

More cultural attire is coming soon for Elliott (and maybe more characters), so keep an eye out for future releases!
