This game saved me when another mod in 1.6 deleted all my tools and weapons. I was able to repurchase everything but the golden scythe. It's one of those things you don't miss until you lose it and can't replace it. Finally, I found your mod, and it saved the game! Thank you!
So, Stardew Valley 1.6 dropped recently and there's a couple things to note... The golden scythe (Along with tools and infinity weapons.) will no longer be lost if you get knocked unconscious. This obviously makes the respawning setting pointless. (But THANK YOU for adding that in the first place! It allowed me to actually risk taking it into the caves!) The other big thing is that you can now get the much desired [SPOILERS] after mastering all 5 skills and then doing some xp grinding. The big thing this does is that it harvests crops like the many mods that let you harvest crops with a certain tool.

thanks for your interest in keeping this mod updated with the 1.6 changes. this mod was already updated for 1.6 in the following ways:
as mentioned in the updated 1.6 description, I am well aware that the golden scythe is now harder to lose, which made me change the default of that setting to disabled. it's still there in case someone needs it for some reason
the iridium scythe is tested and working with this mod (it immediately works, since it is correctly tagged as a scythe). It can get the same enchantments as other scythes. no crop harvesting specific enchantments were added to the pool (I also don't really think that is necessary, but if you want a specific one in the pool, let me know)
if you find any issues or have any suggestions let me know. it would be nice for other users if you could edit out how to obtain the iridium scythe please. we all know it exists due to the pre release tweets, but we don't need to take away all the magic on day 2
I actually meant the unlock method "mastering all 5 skills and then doing some xp grinding", not the item name (because that one was announced by ConcernedApe on twitter already). anyway, have fun with the update!

The most likely thing that someone might know about 1.6 is the existence of the Iridium Scythe. But, you just went and included essentially the entirety of the details on how to acquire it as well as what it actually does.....The most important parts of the spoiler! And they're just laid out in your comment in plain view, lmao.
Perhaps most ppl would already know by now, but I've still not yet started my own 1.6 playthrough! (After finding out about 1.6 a few weeks ago, I've been slowly working on modding my game before I start a new playthrough 😄) I already knew the basic details, so I wasn't actually spoiled or anything, but my point is that, even now, it can still be a spoiler for many people...
Love the mod. Ran some tests with only this and cjb cheat menu and pick your enchantment. The scythe ends up with a random enchantment instead of one that was selected. Not something i expect to see fixed but felt i'd warn folks so they aren't too surprised.
enchanted my galaxy dagger with starburst...and...um...frankly it's hilarious. rapid fire stream of particles with knockback...can kiiiinda see why it isnt enabled in the game though, heh
you have so many good mods. thank you for the contribution and letting us enjoy the game more ! please for your planned features for slingshot enchantment , if you ever do it make it compatible with walk of life mod .it already has a super mode that can auto fire with certain conditions.

the enchantment mod is already deep in development in cooperation with another modder, and it got a lot bigger than just enchantments (it will be configurable like all my mods of course). Walk of Life is not a priority of mine, since sadly, while I know vonLoewe quite well, their mod is close to not configurable and its incompatible with a few of my mods. so you will probably be able to turn off any feature of ours that conflicts with Walk of Life, but not the other way around
yes it's one of the highest praises .after I installed this mod and ring overhaul ,I went through your list and saw you are the one that also made horse overhaul ! can't wait to see the enchantment mod fully developed !
