Dynamically replaces the area in between the date and the time in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, which normally shows what the weather and season is, with a list of which shops are open and which shops are not. The dynamic interface takes into account day, time, and weather. It will show all shops as closed on festivals and event days and even show if the shop is closed because the shop owner is at the clinic or disposed for another reason.
A red X denotes that the shop is closed, while a green check denotes that it is open at that exact time.
It is fairly difficult to test every single possible combination through playtesting, so if you notice something is wrong, please speak up in the comments or private message me if you'd prefer. We are almost 100% sure they are accurate but there is always the chance we made a mistake or forgot something somewhere.
Currently the following shops are included and cycle through in this order:
Pierre's General Store
Marnie's Ranch
Robin's Carpenter Shop
Clint's Blacksmith
Willy's Fish Shop
Using Content Patcher, a portion of "Content\LooseSprites\Cursors.xnb" is replaced with our (PaulDunstan and Myself) edited version.
UPDATE 1/28/2022: Added days of operation to phone messages when you call in and get the answering machine.
Example: "Hello? Hey! Yes, I'm currently open for business... please swing by before 5PM, Wednesday through Monday, if you need anything!"
1) Install and/or update Stardew Valley.
2) Download and/or update SMAPI.
3) Download and/or update Content Patcher.
4) Download and/or update Content Patcher Animations.
5) Download and/or update Expanded Preconditions Utility.
6) Download this mod, then extract it.
7) Move the extracted folder (which contains the assets folder as well as, content.json, & manifest.json) into your "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods" folder so that the final file structure looks like this: "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\[CP] Dynamic Shop Status\assets"
8) That's it you're done, enjoy! (Ask in comments or PM me if you have any issues...)
Compatible with Stardew Valley 1.5.4, 1.5.5 and 1.5.6 CONFIRMED. Probably works with earlier versions as well but I haven't tested it with anything less than 1.5.4.
Compatible with Windows and macOS (I have not tested it on Linux but I don't see why it wouldn't work there too)
Compatible with Single-player and Multiplayer.
Mod Compatibility:
-No mod conflicts that I know of yet.
-Issues may arise if you have any other mods installed that LOAD the same files.
