    Does this not work with big chests?

      The quick stack feature does indeed work with big chests. Currently the tooltip drawing isn't colored but that is a minor visual issue that will be fixed.

    I like the lock favorite feature, but I found that sometimes there are empty slots that be locked, I know that when build a building in Robin's shop and consume locked items, it will happen. But sometimes I don't know how it happened, It looks like the item in the locked slot moved by itself

      I have seen a few of these situations myself. It seems that using all items of a favorited item stack to purchase things in shop menus like Robin's and Clint's leave a leftover empty favorited slot. I have also noticed that when picking up furniture with a full toolbar, the object gets set to your final toolbar slot, and "pushes" whatever item used to be there further into your inventory; this interferes with the favorited item slot.

      There are a few other situations that cause this as well — I am looking into fixing these issues for the next update of the mod.

      I've had some other suggestions for this as well, so I will look into adding global chest support (toggled off by default) in the next major update of this mod.

    There could be a button to quickly throw an item into the trash

      If you are playing with a keyboard you can hit the Delete key to automatically move an item to the trashcan, which is a base game mechanic (although not obvious). If you use controller/gamepad, I'm not certain of the button hotkey off the top of my head, if there is one.

    If I wanted to include inbuilt compatibility with your mod in my UI recolour, how would I target this mod's assets? Thank you! <3

      I'm not too sure. SMAPI 4.0.0 / SDV 1.6 may have added better ways of doing this, but what I have seen in the past is for recolor mod authors to mimic the folder structure of the mod they wish to "patch", and create their own versions of the image assets used by that mod.

      For Convenient Inventory, the folder structure looks like this:
      `Stardew Valley/Mods`/ConvenientInventory/assets/{image files are stored here}

      So your recolor mod would include a folder mimicking this structure, like so:
      `Your mod base folder`/ConvenientInventory/assets/{same image file names as ConvenientInventory uses}

      Users of your recolor mod would download your mod, and to install, would simply drag that ConvenientInventory folder into their `Stardew Valley/Mods` folder, replacing all files when prompted to do so. This will replace all the default image files in ConvenientInventory with your recolored image files.

      Hope this helps.

      Thanks, I'm trying to avoid that method because I'm not a fan of it myself! No problem though, I appreciate your time!

      Of course, I understand. I would be interested to see if I could detect if Content Patcher is installed, and if so, use their API for loading my image assets. I feel like that would allow recolor mods to override the image assets with their own via Content Patcher, although I don't know for sure and I'm making a few assumptions as to how it works.

    https://smapi.io/log/f03e580c8197485ca642f689f20a8022good evening, i love the mod. however, I noticed a change. . i play with a Pdp switch gamepad and have the inventory sort linked to the rear right flipper on the menu .Somehow my controller has it linked to the Plus/minus buttons and I cannot change it. do you have any advice on how to change it?

      I do not overwrite any base game hotkeys with this mod. But if one of this mod's hotkeys are interfering with the base game, you can always edit the config file (either manually or with Generic Mod Config Menu).

    I can not put into words just how absolutely satisfying it is to hit my hotkey at the end of the day and then go to bed.  It's just so good.  Thank you!

    Are Steam achievements enabled with this mod?

      As far as I am aware, SMAPI does not disable steam achievements from being obtainable when running the game with mods. So to answer your question, yes, Steam achievements are not affected by this mod.

    Hi :) I used to use Convenient Chests with Chests Anywhere for the stash from anywhere option. Could it be possible at all to add that option with this mod? Like to press Q for example and anywhere I am in the world it will just send my items to existing stacks in the chests on the farm. I beg of you. I cannot find a replacement and Better Chests stashing is not working for me (I reported a bug already). I know lots of people find this option OP but just make it optional if you can, and if it's not too much trouble.

    Thank you for your amazing work!

      Hi, just wondering if you were able to get this to work with chests anywhere? i cant seem to figure it out but i want to auto stack to the correct storage without having to manually find the box.

      I stopped trying with this mod, I use Chests Anywhere with Convenient Chests and it works like a charm! Just need to set up the config there and you can stack from anywhere.

      I can look into adding global chest support, toggled off by default, in the next major update of this mod. If possible, this will also include compatibility with Chests Anywhere and/or Convenient Chests. Apologies for the delayed response and thank you for the suggestion.
