You might encounter issues in the farmer's sprite when wearing shoes or hats.
For hats, you should just take them off. They don't have a sprite anyways, so you're not really missing much in that department. Shoes also break the farmer's sprite. For those, don't worry. After you've finished the day and gone to bed, you can just exit to tile and re-enter the save, and the farmer will be back to normal (aka sap).
During the character creation, changing the farmer's eye colour will also turn him into a rectangle. Simply change the shirt, pants, accessories or hair colour, and that should fix it.
I would really like if these issues weren't here, but my modding knowledge is extremely small, and I'm very new to this. Apologies for that :/
