I recently downloaded this mod and I just can't get it to work at all. When I press the hotkeys the furniture just doesn't move? I've tried to change hotkeys as well, and so far nothing. Any tips? TYIA
Hi, i'm playing on a laptop without a number pad. Looking for suggestions of what others who play this way use for their hotkeys. I also use joy-con controllers. A lot of my keyboard is used up right now for other mods. Perhaps I can figure out some multi-keybindings for some and free up keys.
This mod lets you move individual furniture pieces and wall-hangings in four directions.
To move a piece of furniture, hover over it with the mouse, then press one of the hotkeys.
Default hotkeys are:
Move Up: NumPad 8
Move Down: Num Pad 2
Move Left: Num Pad 4
Move Right: Num Pad 6
Pressing these keys shifts the furniture by one pixel. If you hold down a mod key (default Left Alt), it shifts it by an increased amount (default 5 pixels).
You can edit all the config variables using Generic Mod Config Menu?, or editing the config.json file.
I totally agree with you! This would be a great add to this mod :) I hate it when I accidentally click over a carpet and I have to replace it over and over.
for some reason after i adjust my furniture and i go to bed after to save my game it completely crashes?? i tested this by loading the game where everything reset to the day before and did not adjust my furniture with the mod and going to bed and the game saved and played as normal so i know its this mod that is causing the crash. has anyone had similar issues and if so how did you fix it??
Still works like a charm for 1.6 :) I don't have a numpad on my keyboard so in the config it's as easy as using Up, Down, Left and Right for arrowkeys instead. My only (minor) gripe is I can't move objects that have been placed on rugs, all attempts to move them only move the rug instead. But that is very minor, I love this mod!
JK figured it out. Shift the offending carpet completely of the way using the mod hotkeys and then you can position the items where you want. Then scoot the carpet back into place via the hotkeys.
