    Hi! I love this mod a lot. As of last week, my cannabis crops on my farm are being labeled as an "error item" with a big red icon of a circle with a line through it. I was hoping that you may have time to look into this - it might be a result of the 1.6.X upgrades?

    The logs look OK too which is why I suspect it might be a larger incompatibiltiy issue with the new versions of the game / SMAPI / JSON Assets? Anyway thanks for reading and hope you're well!

    This is OP as hell but that's good with me. I wish growing was this easy in real life.

      Do you have any suggestions on how I can tune it to be less overpowered? The hard part is that Cannabis is clearly a high value crop IRL.

      You could give it more flavour than it being for drug use, and establish lore that in the world of SV, there never had been a ban on it, as such the crop wouldn't be the high value crop it is irl, hemp has been cultivated as long if not longer than flax until some religious zealot slave driver made the US ban opium in his region, which quickly escalated into the ban of everything usable as a drug (yes, it's the origin story for the Prohibition), and quickly was forced upon everyone in the aftermath of the world wars.

      It had been the basic material for cheap cloth and ropes, for example, the sails of many ships were made from hemp, the first jeans were made from hemp too, hemp cloth was the cheaper alternative to linen until industrial produced cloth from cotton took that place. Without a ban and it being a black market good, it's THC concentration wouldn't be as high and neither would the price, I mean together with stuff like bamboo and hops, hemp is among the fastest growing plants. Without a bottleneck artificially shortening the supply, the price could be anywhere between cotton and flax. You could add a recipe for making cloth from the hemp, should take longer than making it from wool, which would balance it in that regard, and, reflecting that, the raw hemp should cost less than raw wool. It was used for animal feed too, maybe you could make a recipe for changing it into hay or make it possible to add it to your silos, which only store it as another unit (or a few) of hay.

      You could make it similar to sunflowers, it always could give you raw hemp but only part of your harvest results in buds good enough to use for adding to wine, making into seeds, baking into cookies, smoking or whatever else drug users use it for, but it would pack less punch (and with how little punch alcohol has in SV the effect of such cannabis could be basically ignored), similar to how cannabis specifically cultivated for medical use seems to not create a significantly big high.

    Drew some new sprites that I found fit the artstyle of the game a bit better, feel free to replace files in mod :)

    Definitely needs more things like edibles and joints to make it more interesting. Also, I noticed that cannabis wine only sells for 280 g, which isnt a lot for taking 10 days. Maybe increase its value or decrease the keg time? Apart from that great mod

      I am so glad to hear you like it so much! I apologize for the late response, I've been busy with the holidays. I do intend to implement more to the mod, do you have any ideas of what you would like to see?

      It would be great if you could add edibles to the game that make the character cheerful and boost of energy.

    I've been using this for one season so far. I would suggest adding products like joints and edibles as crafting/cooking recipes. The grape requirement for the wine is annoying. Otherwise decent mod.
