Sorry for abandoning this mod! I made it when I was still new to modding and a lot it is held together by sticky tape... And then when Looking for Love came out I would just use that since it was less likely to break.
However, I have been inspired! I am currently working on a new mod that would replace this one. It recycles... A LOT from this mod but I think it's different enough to count as it's own new thing.
Things that'll be in the new one: -The (new) 14 heart event can actually happen! -I tweaked the portraits and sprites a bit, and even made new sets without an apron for when he's out of the smith shop! -New Spouse Room and Patio that I think fit him better! -You can still date him if you miss the chance to see his 6 heart event! -Schedule Dialogue for when he's married! -A lot of little changes once he's over Emily! (Dialogue from other characters, events change, ect.)
I'm looking forward to seeing the updated version of mod, if you ever release it. Just got that disgusting 8-heart event from Stardew Valley Extended with Clint and Emily and it genuinely bummed me out how that mod violates the vanilla story for him and her if you aren't dating Emily. The dude deserves to be happy and what that mod did was entirely unnecessary.
What exactly did the mod do?? I've never used it but I was thinking about it and this would be definitely be a point in the Con column because I like the characters a lot as they are!
Hey! I saw that you're currently working on a better version of this mod, and I'm excited to hear that! I always felt that there could be more to the npc, and also I wanted tonmarry him.
However, at the moment, I'm having trouble with getting Clint to actually date me and unlock 10 hearts. I've already had the event where he asks the farmer to date him and I've seen every event besides the other 2 -heart event (the one that isn't the Blue Joja commercial) and the 12 or 14-heart ones.
My issue is that I can only trigger the Joja 2-heart event and not the other after forgetting the Joja one in hopes of getting one or both, and giving him a bouquet prompts him to say no. I'm currently playing SVE and in multiplayer, so I was wondering if that was the problem.
Just wondering, when is Clint in his shop? I need to upgrade items but didn't think it through before I married him, and every time I check he's never in :/
Also, the sideways sprite doesn't seem to be working? Whenever I kiss him or he's at his patio he disappears with a flash
Hello! New question as well: How do I trigger the 14 heart event? I have Event Lookup but it only lists "CLint is at Leah's House" as the conditions and that means nothing to me. When is clint at Leah's house? I'm going into winter year two and would really like to see it!!!! Please and thank you!!!
I'm having the same problem! I can't figure out when I can go upgrade my tools and he'll be there. I've gone every day for a week straight and he hasn't been there!
Edit: Never mind, figured it out. I made a mistake counting days- Clint is there on schedule according to his files!
I ran into a problem with the fourth event. I reached four hearts with Clint, I come to the forest between 6pm and 2am, the holidays are not soon, but Clint is still isn't here, as are the event. Maybe this is due to the accidental activation of the event on 3 hearts, from the original game? Event on 2 hearts was OK
Bug reported: After the 14 hear event clint''s room in unloadable and crashes the game when I try to make him the "Main spouse" in free love.

Possible source of error on my part: Due to no response on how to view Clint's 14 heart event and event lookup not working on laptop, I removed the condition of Clint having to be in Leah's house in the code in order to trigger the event (It was the 20th of winter year 2, not a lot of time left waiting). I'm not sure how this could affect the multiple files labeled as "Clint's Room" that SMAPI is listing as the problem, but thought it would be fair to give all relevant info.
I really love the heart events given and how this mod changed Clint and being able to marry him, but if it keeps crashing my game I'm going to have to remove it.
EDIT: I had to go into the files and rename (?? It's been so long I kinda forget) the clint rooms as they were both trying to load and leading to the crash. Also as for body disappearing during kiss/time at his patio is due to an outfit mod! Been working great since, and I love the evening gifts and his dorky face lol!
It can be compatible if this mod doesn't have schedule changes made with the vanilla map in mind. There's a schedule for Clint post-marriage, but I don't know if that takes into account SVE's map.
