About this mod
Send a romantic letter to the player. Intended for use by romantics planning a small surprise for their partners or anyone interested in making the town talk about how much the person of their choice loves them. (See examples.)

Note: A platonic version for friends is now available!
This mod can be used to surprise your boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other by sending them a romantic letter in-game and then having NPCs comment on your wonderful relationship afterwards. To do so, you'll want to install it in their mods folder when they're not looking and modify the config to suit your relationship.
You can also install it on your own system and have every NPC comment on David Bowie's love for you or any other name you like. :)
Please use responsibly! If you aren't 100% sure that someone will love this mod, don't give it to them!!!
If you aren't sure how to get this into someone's mod folder, the following will work on most people in my experience:
The letter should send the next in-game day unless it is the very beginning of the game, in which case it will send during mid-spring.
Mod comes with three configs for your partner's name, your name, and your pet name (what your partner calls you, if different from how the NPCs would address you). These will default to the player name and "You Know Who" if you do not change the config.
I invite you to open up the content.json and adjust any and all dialog to suit your tastes and relationship. You can learn more about dialog modding here. It would also be easy to add lines for your partner's favorite custom NPCs.
Interested in making a version of this mod to celebrate a birthday, friendship, or literally anything else? You're welcome to copy the format and create the letter and dialog of your dreams! If you publish, however, please do not re-use any of the included dialog.
