Stardew Valley

  • The number of items that can spawn has a set minimum and maximum per day, some with a minimum of 1 (which means at least 1 is guaranteed to spawn in a map) and others with a minimum of 0 (which means there is a chance of not finding anything in a map). The numbers differ per day/festival/map/time, and with the range of minimum/maximum spawns, you will likely not have the same amount of gathered items each year.
  • There are no other factors that affect the spawn rate of the objects provided by this mod. It's all randomly decided by chance.
  • The changes will NOT show up outside of their specified dates, so no need to worry about winter easter eggs, summer-time Halloween candies, and so on.
  • The spawns don't usually appear in the morning immediately unless they're stated/programmed to. They take their time and gradually show up. As far as I remember, there are only two occurrences that have the new forage spawn immediately in the morning.
  • Spawn chances tend to differ if it happens on a day that is not a festival date and is usually lower when they occur.
  • The spawns last for one day, so if you miss an important object that you wanted, you might not see it again the next day in the same area.
  • If you're not sure if something has spawned in the area that you're in, some festivals have spawn sounds that can notify you that something has appeared on the same map.
