A few years ago, I stumbled across this great game called Stardew Valley.
As an old Harvest Moon Fan I loved the fresh air that was blown into that niche of a game genre.
ConcernedApe created what many of us always dreamed of, when they played Harvest Moon.

A few years went by and I then discovered those enormous mods for myself.
Stardew Valley Expanded
Tractor Mod
Custom Graphics
Custom Buildings and so many more.

My favourite one by far was CustomMusic you were finally able to implement your own music to the game.
I downloaded various Music Packs. Enjoyed them.
And.
Deleted them again.
Why?

I asked myself Why don't I REALLY like any of those Music Packs.
Because most of them were either Digital Covers of other Songs or just imported Songs of any RPG or JRPG out there.

Stardew Valleys Music was just perfect. And Erik had something very specific in mind creating them. The Overture for example is peaceful but yet uplifting. It perfectly describes the game as a whole.
Erik back then made everything with free available software and its limitations and created something amazing.

Then it came to my mind
What! Just what if we take that very vision and transcribe it to real instruments. Make the necessary adjustments and re-imagine some of it, to give it that orchestral emotional shine!

Well and here I am. Created already 3 of its songs.

It is a long journey for me as many of those songs, due to its Synth-Nature can be very complex and hard to transpose.
I took my time with those three songs and will do that also for the rest of the OST.

I first have to make Sheet Music to refer to and then think about the Musical Presentation.
What Instruments can fit where?
What is what section playing?
Do I REALLY need this specific instrument? What can sound better?
How would it be played in real life?
And then I have to RE-WRITE every single note.

With the Overture, its a whole other story. I am completly re-imagining the theme song.
I want to make it as emotional and epic as possible and will probably the LAST song that's going to be released by me.

And because don't want you to wait SO long, I am going Stream every now and then when Im working on it.
It's a hobby that's why it's not every day ofcourse.
But Im giving my best to make as many songs as possible for you guys, and ofcourse myself.

Hopefully every single one in the OST!
