?I'm not able to import the xml config ingame, It does appear on the control profiles list in the settings but it just shows as N/A when I try to import the settings for the controller (pic below) :
Also, I can only get the OSK to overlay ingame when I am in borderless, fullscreen jumps to desktop before showing it. And the rest of the overlay (steam button, to see the controls ingame) doesn't appear at all. Maybe it's something to do with my settings in GlosSI?
select N/A as the option. That's just some weird bug that was introduced in Star Citizen custom mappings a few patches ago. And with GlosSi that's a limitation, it needs to be borderless, it can't extend the steam overlay to fullscreen mode (at least in older builds).
Vid is up. In the vid I was having problems with the ADV CAM view menu, that seems to work fine, must have been a problem with the game during recording.
QQ, will u be doing a new vid for the latest Steam Controller update for SC 3.10? Or does the 3.8 vid continue to apply? I tried the new config and it works well in the short time I have tried it.
Awesome u are continuing to keep this profile current as SC moves through its loooonnnnngggg lifecycle.
Hi! Haven't thoroughly tested this, but seems like an awesome piece of work. Two questions though, does it work with 3.9, and do you intend on supporting future versions?
Already found an answer in comments of your video, posting here for those who are interested:
"It works with 3.9 (I've only played briefly though and will probably be making some tweaks in the coming weeks). Shouldn't interfere with flight sticks but it WOULD totally screw things up if you use a Xbox controller. My bindings replace a lot of the game's controller inputs."
I've been playing around with this a bit, and while I think it will take some getting used to. I absolutely love it. Outstanding work :) Let me know if you need a beta tester, as I'd be happy to help you make this even better (not that it isn't amazing so far).
Thank you for making this. My flight sticks are all having problems with their yaw control (X52 Pro, and a T16000FCS kit), so I can't fly the way I want to with those, so this is nice for getting the control I want.
I had the mod installed and working and now it is only partially working after I upgraded the Steam Controller firmware. Do I need to go through the whole process again to get it working?
Updating Steam Controller firmware shouldn't have any bearing on this. Has the game updated? If so , you might need to clear out gamepad bindings and load in mine again (in the game settings). Instructions for that are in the Description or README file.
It's a custom hybrid of mappings for Steam Controller that combines gamepad and mouse / keyboard bindings. All of the instructions are detailed step by step to import my bindings and apply the steam controller configuration. When you are using the Steam Controller it's a combo of everything but you can still use your physical mouse and keyboard if you want (If I'm understanding what you are asking).
