Aims to add a line of gunpowder based alternatives to hunting bows and knives.

Hunting Rifles (1.1) for Beta v. Angry Koala
Requires Tabula Rasa version at least 1.5 (At least, that's the version I tested with)
This adds hunting rifles for those who want an alternative to hunting bows and knives. Their projectile has the "bow" damage type so monsters killed with them will be more likely to drop meat and leather than if they were killed with another weapon.
Currently the mod has four weapons: the Emergency Rifle, which is made out of wood; the Survival Rifle, which is made from stone; the Hunting Rifle, made from iron; and the Steel Hunting Rifle, which, as you might expect, is made from steel.
The Emergency Rifle is intended to be a starting weapon and is about on par with the starting weapons in your ship's hold. It's made at the Tabula Rasa with 25 wood planks.
The other rifles are intended to be balanced against the three existing tiers of hunting bows. They're all made at the Tabula Rasa and require 25 of their relative crafting material, as well as either the previous tier rifle or some amount of pixels, depending on the level.
Regarding the pictures of the rifles, the Emergency and Survival rifles have custom artwork courtesy of a close friend of mine, Reynold Hughes, while the iron and steel rifles are still using the one I shopped together for the last version.
To install:
1. Make sure you have Tabula Rasa installed. (You can get it here: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/the-tabula-rasa.114/ )
2. Unzip huntingRifle1-1.zip into your mod directory.
3. Go hunt some mobs.
Future plans:
-More rifles for the other tiers (A starting 'Survival Rifle' for example (DONE!), all the way up to an Impervium Hunting Rifle).
-Custom images for the rifle(s). Right now, it is just some vanilla sniper rifle parts shopped together. (Somewhat done)
Version info:
1.1 - Added wood, stone and iron rifles named "Emergency Rifle", "Survival Rifle", and "Hunting Rifle" respectively. Renamed the steel rifle to the incredibly creative "Steel Hunting Rifle". Changed and added recipes. Slightly reduced the damage of the Steel Hunting Rifle. (Jan 5th, 2014)
