Overview
Colored Lights provides you with new light sources for your ship/home. With Colored Lights you can easily set the mood of any home/ship! Colors range from the dim black light to the vibrant white light. Combinations of Petals are used to craft various colors of light.
Install
- Download the .zip file
- Find your Starbound directory
( For me: D :Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonStarbound)
- Navigate the the "mods" folder
- Extract the .zip file in the "mods" folder
You are done! Just open Starbound and enjoy the mod.
Features
- Adds new chandelier item with 11 different color variants
- Adds new candle item with 11 different color variants
- Adds 10 new color variants of torches
- Adds new crafting station - Magic Campfire
How to Craft
***NOTE*** All recipes associated with this mod will be learned the next time your character picks up a torch
Colored Lights adds a new crafting station, the Magic Campfire.
- The magic campfire can be crafting at the default crafting menu (by pressing 'c') and requires a regular campfire and one of each petal color
- Once crafted, place down the Magic Campfire and press 'e' to interact with it
- This will bring up the crafting menu where you can create colored torches, chandeliers, and candles!
Recipies
Colored Torch- 1 Torch + Petals corresponding to desired color
Chandelier - 1 Gold bar, 4 Torches
Colored Chandelier - 1 Chandelier + Petals corresponding to desired color
Candle (x4) - 1 Gold bar, 1 Torch
Colored Candle- 1 Candle + Petals corresponding to desired color
Plans
- Add colored campfires?
- Add different types of metal (ex. silver) for chandelier/candle (currently just available in gold)
- Colored Tiki torches
- Colored fluorescent lights
- Color changing lights?
- Colored Lamps
