This is a modification of the in game ship. I have only tested it on humans but I don't see why it shouldn't work on others. Not tested in Multiplayer either.
Install:
Go to /steam/SteamApps/common/Starbound/assets/ships/ and backup your race's folder, Once that is done replace dropship.structure, shipship.png and dropshipblocks.png.
