Also, I think Call of Pripyat technically already has fast travel; at least in 2 maps, you just go up to a fellow S.T.A.L.K.E.R., ask him where he's goin', and if he's goin' the same direction you are, choose to come along...or ask him to take you to a specific location. I actually kinda liked that about Call of Pripyat, to be honest, that you could walk up to any random asshole with a gun and then ask him to take you somewhere, like he's guide for hire.
Edit: Also, call this nit-picking if you like, but why can't you do that in Call of Chernobyl? It was a feature in the original Call of Pripyat, but it's missing here, the only things you can ask someone is either for a job, or if they'll wander the zone with you; never if they'll take you somewhere else for a fee depending on whether or not they like you.
It just crashes when I load a save. However, I tried removeing the "scripts" folder and it fixed the crashing. But I only can see the "Beds" Icon on my map, unable to fast travel.
Those errors are caused by having an incompatible map_spots.xml-file. You either have not updated CoC to the latest version (1.4.22) or have a mod that changes the map_spots.xml, making it incompatible with this mod.
Sorry for the late reply, I have not been very active on nexus for a while.
Yes it is. Delete the file "fast-travel.script" located in \gamedata\scripts\ and the requirement to first visit a location to will be back.
Be aware, that the system that makes the markers appear in vanilla CoC is buggy. You might have to reload the save in order for the marker to appear, and you might also have to be standing in each location you want a marker for (when reloading the save) in order for the marker to appear (simply just visiting the location is not enough). This is the reason why I changed it in this mod.
