thanks for the interest in the mod! I promise you that it isnt dead, I've just been going through a *lot* of upheaval in my life right now, including starting a new full time job so time to work on the mod has been severely limited.
All the interest and support has honestly been a little overwhelming as I genuinely didnt expect interest in this project to be so high, so I've felt a lot of pressure from that, but uh... yeah! Mod isnt dead, just going through some stuff right now and working on what I can. Its a pretty time consuming project <3
In case others want to get in on this, would you be willing to share your method for improving the audio quality of these old sounds? I think you mentioned something about that on r/spyro.
Glad to hear you've got some free time, and me and others are anxiously awaiting your next bit of work on this mod! Wish it were as simple as dropping sound files in a particular folder like in some games, but it appears we common folk can only count on you to enhance those nostalgia vibes!
I really miss that DOINK DOINK sound of the sheep bouncing around. :D
Here is a good resource if you aren't already aware of it. It's called The Sounds Resource, its a sub-category of the main site, The Spriter's Resource. I don't know if it has all of the sound effects from the original PS1 Games, but there are still a few files for all three games. I attached the links below.

Hey, This mod already adds so much to the game for me. Whilst it would be cool if it saw an update one day, you're more important and I hope you're good.
so i guess the mod is dead? i don't mean that it doesn't work, but that it's not worked on anymore? such a shame. really wanted to enjoy the Reignited with all classic sounds, though not sure how many are left to be done. still, at least we did get sounds you hear the most playing the games and the cherry on top is the Collosus Monk Chant.
Just checkin cuz it's been two years without an update. Any future plans for this? Modding scene for this game is pretty dead so I doin't think any SFX mods will ever come to light besides this one
If its possible could you bring in the original running sound effect? Something about it was always satisfying and nice to listen to :) Same with the jump XD Doesnt have that flair for me anymore D8
Heck yeah, I hate the little sound that plays when you run. It's subtle, but there's a secondary sound when you run. It's not the footsteps, it's like some kind of SFX together with sprinting. I want that removed.

just been drained every day and not had the drive to work on any of my projects for months on end
