UPDATE: Just reached the first milestone. It is indeed further along the DNA meter than the visuals lead the player to believe. Perhaps put that in the mod description that the milestones locations on the DNA meter are to be ignored to avoid any confusion?
Hey, I downloaded it there and I'm wondering if what I'm experiencing is a bug or a feature. I'm in the creature stage and even though my DNA meter has risen above the first DNA milestone but my creature hasn't experienced the boost in max health or the ability to recruit to its herd. Is it simply a case of needing to raise the meter further than normal for this to occur and ignore the position of the milestones on the meter or is this a bug?
Forgive me if I'm missing something stupid, but whenever I attempt to download either file 7Zip spits at me that it can't open them as archives. I'm pretty sure 7Zip is supposed to be able to open .rar's, so I'm a tad confused and a bit hesitant to install another 'unzipper' right away. Are the files still opening just fine for other people?
is there a way to make and add new move's in spore? like instead of charge you can you stun from parts like light creating parts so you blind them for a second so to add way more possibility of combat
That could be done by swapping out scripts and animation, or by creating a new part. Unfortunately since information is so spread out over many files it takes longer than it should. I was thinking of making a separate mod like that, but that would not be for some time.
If you have Spore API download that version and run it through the quick installer, if not download the loose files then unpack them with an application like winrar and unpack the the games "game" package file replace my files with the ones there and repack. I highly recommend you use spore API as it is faster the loose files are mostly for people who run mods like Dark Spore. Hope that helps. :)
