To those that need help getting up and running, this video helped me out. You'll probably only need to watch from the 45 second mark to around 4 minute mark to get going:
TL;DW (too long; didn't watch) 1. Make a "Miles Morales Mod Stuff" folder on your desktop 2. Manual download "Miles Morales PC Modding Tool" and extract it in there. 3. Open your local files for your Miles Morales game (for the steam folks just right click on the game name > manage > browse local files) 4. Highlight the "Miles Morales PC Modding Tool" files that you extracted and copy-paste them into the local game files for Miles Morales 5. Go to: AssetHashes.txt and manual download the file into your "Miles Morales Mod Stuff" folder then extract it (with the "EXTRACT TO "file name blablabla" option so it's a nice folder) there as well. 6. Copy-Paste that "AssetHashes.txt" folder right into your Miles Morales game file. Double click on that folder that got put into the game file, and then go up to the file location bar at the top of the window, click to highlight the destination path and copy it. 7. Run the "MMPCTool" application that is now in your Miles Morales game file, it will then ask you for your asset archives. 8. Paste that destination path from step 6 and click OK. KEEP THE WINDOW OPEN 9. After that, download whatever mod you want and extract it (I always do the "extract to 'filenameblablabla'" option) into your "Mod Stuff" folder on your desktop. 10. Back in the MMPCTool, Go to "Mod Manager" drop down menu at the top of the window. Click "Add" in the top left of the new window that pops up, then travel to that "Miles Morales Mod Stuff" folder on your desktop and you should see a file for whatever mod you want to download. Click OK/Open 11. MAKE SURE TO THEN CLICK THE LITTLE CHECKBOX NEXT TO THAT MOD YOU JUST ADDED. Then go down to the lower left of that mod manager window and click "Install Mods To Game" 12. Congratulations you can now go back and click PLAY on your regular game launcher (In my case through steam) and your mod will be applied.
**Disclaimer: I do not know enough to troubleshoot problems you may face if you heavily mod the game. The steps typed out are simply the ones I followed in the video that has been linked above. Since the author did not include instructions.**
@Dakspieth: It'll be a 7z file and not a basic Zip. You'll want to right click it > go to the "7-Zip" part of that drop-down menu (If you do not have that option, you'll want to install 7-zip that can be located with a quick google search of "7-zip".) > go down to "Extract to MilesMoralesPCTool etc etc etc" . You should then have a folder with a txt file called "AssetHashes", "settings" txt file, and the "MMPCTool" application.
@corman12350: I'm not sure how to fix that other than try deleting the files associated with the manager and trying again
This mod manager is completely broken and completely crashes when trying to add a mod each time. How are we supposed to mod our game when the creator of this hasnt done anything to fix it in 2 years. Someone needs to make a better tool because this doesnt work any more like it used to
when i try to use a suit it either gives a random error or says "This Suit is not compatible with Miles Morales or with the current version of suit adder." can someone please help me, Thank you.
Today, I want to try to modify this game, but I still have the problem that many users have that it cannot find the TOC file, when I have both toc and toc.bak, is there some other program, some solution or do I have to play . vanilla?
It keeps saying when I try to add something Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close Immediately.
Could not find file 'C:\Users\mwlfi\AppData\Local\Temp\7zO4E8EA45E\AssetHashes.txt
When I downloaded the AssetHashes, it only said "AssetHashes" though in the tutorial that I watched, it was AssetHashes.txt
If you know anything on how to fix this, please respond to this post.

1.AFTER opening the tool you need to delete the toc.bak file found in the asset_archive folder (AFTER OPENING THE TOOL)
2.add any mod of your choice, if you get the error occured error thing just remove the mod and then add a diff mod and it should work again.
3.select the mods you want to install and then click install
4.have fun with your mods.😀
IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES REPLY TO THIS POST AND ILL TRY TO HELP YOU OUT I HAVE NO IDEA IF THE OWNER OF THIS MOD IS UPDATING ANY TIME SOON.
