About this mod
I downloaded this mod years ago from a Russian Spellforce-site. That site seems to be gone from the internet, and I did find out today that another modder has uploaded a package named "The Winterguard", which is basically the same as this mod - but is lacking the UI and the buildings of the Ice Elves. Replaces the Elves with the Ice Elves.

2023:
Installation:
Place the three folders inside of your SpellForce Main Directory (JooWood/SpellForce).
Older files from the 2021 upload included some UI cards, textures for the Elves to turn them into Winter Elves and building textures.
2023 Update = I had forgotten to include the folder named "MESH", the folder named "animations" and the folder named "SKINNING" - it will add new models for the Winter Elves replacing three older units and their animations.
1. Treant/Ent = Replaced with the Blue Dragon of the "Breath of Winter" cover.
2. Pixies = Replaced with white Winter Wolves.
3. Siege Engine = Not certain which unit this is but it's also replaced.
The mod has now increased to 32.1mb in size from the old 30.7mb!

This mod will replace the units of the Elves with the Ice Elves (textures are changed,) but unlike the mod named "The Winterguard" this mod also does change the buildings, as well as the UI (User Interface) into Ice Elven dito's.
I am not the creator of the mod. - The mod was uploaded years ago on a Russian Spellforce-site from which I did download it originally. This site is now removed from the internet so I thought I could upload the mod here.
I want no credit for the work, the only credit I'll take is for keeping a copy of the mod for many years.
So there is another mod on this site that does basically the same as this mod - with the difference that this mod also changes the buildings and the UI.
This mod is originally from the year 2005 but was updated with the UI-cards in 2012 so it isn't new. I thought maybe it would be superior to the other one due to having Ice Elven UI and structures as well.

This mod is at 30.7mb compared to "The Winterguard" which is at 23.6mb - so this has additional files.as additional files.
